Five Things To Remember Before Watching Power Season 4

Five Things To Remember Before Watching Power Season 4

It’s almost time to Power up again!

We’ve been teased with the trailer and tormented with the theories, but it’s finally time to discover the fate of Fifty Cent and Co. as season 4 of STARZ PLAY’s hit show, Power, which finally returns to our screens next week. With its excessive drama, edge-of-your-seat storytelling and A-list cast, the US drama is a firm favourite with viewers across the globe. If your memory is a little rusty and you’re jumping into the series now, here’s a reminder on where season 3 left off. And beware, spoiler alert!

The Cliffhanger

Season 3 ended with star-of-the-show and everyone’s favourite nightclub owner Jamie St Patrick, otherwise known as Ghost, being arrested for the murder of his girlfriend Angie’s colleague Greg. Turned in by Angie and last seen being dragged out the club in handcuffs, the season 4 trailer opens with Ghost sporting a rather fetching orange jumpsuit in federal prison. Where will his fate lie and which of his loyal sidekicks will be scrambling to fill the void he’s leaving behind? Our money’s on Dre, but only time will tell.

Tasha and Ghost’s Potential Reunion

While he’s not always been the dream life partner, Tasha has a habit of looking the other way from her estranged-husband’s escapades, and has always his back whatever mess he manages to find himself in. We’re assuming Angie’s now out the picture, given the fact she turned Ghost into the police, so does this mean a reunion is on the cards?

Greg is Dead

To put it bluntly. While he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, there will definitely be a Greg Knox-shaped hole in our TV screens next month. Ghost is currently set to go down for his murder, but who else are police eyes on? This is one game of Murder Mystery that could last all series long…

50 Cent Could be the Next Top Dog

Hate him or love him, Fifty Cent’s production skills are second to none. There’s also no denying his brilliant acting in this role. His character, Kanan, has had his sights set on knocking Ghost off the top spot ever since he set him up to go to jail. With the roles now reversed, this could be Kanan’s time to shine.

Things Aren’t Looking Good For Tariq

In the final episodes of season 3, Kanan approached Tariq, aka Ghost’s son, with the intention of using him as a weapon against his father. Excelling in teenage rebellion, Tariq ignored the warnings signs and got himself truly sucked in, culminating in his eventual kidnapping by Kanan. Will Tasha get him back safe and sound? With Ghost now in jail, that might be no easy feat.
