THE GULF ELITE TOUR AMBASSADORS AND JUMERIAH SHOW THEIR SUPPORT OF THE DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE AT A SUNRISE BEACH WORKOUT WITH SPORT HORSES BY THE ARABIAN SEA.

All 7 of the Gulf Elite Tour (TGET) Ambassadors accepted HH Sheikh Hamdans Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30 and took the beach of Madinat Jumeirah to give both themselves and their horses an early morning workout with the iconic Burj al Arab as their back drop.  A spokesman for Jumeirah said “it has been our great pleasure to work with The Gulf Elite Tour and its Ambassadors in their support of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and we look forward to our continued collaboration with them”.

The Gulf Elite Tour is a six event series that forms a part of the Emirates Longines League, it began last month and its first season will continue through to April 2018.  It aims to raise awareness of the sport, its athletes, of competition and the paradigm of ‘train to win’.  Selected from the riding community and representing 3 of the UAE’s ruling families, each Ambassador has a specific message they will promote throughout the Tour; Heritage, Legacy, Iconic, Equestrianism, Women, Unity and Fitness.

Rosanna Chopra, Co-Founder of TGET says “The Gulf Elite Tour has bought an incredible sense of unity, team spirit and purpose.  It has given a voice to the athletes who have for some time been seeking out support from corporates, a platform to engage with the community and those who care about sporting ability being more than a hobby.  In my view, if corporates based in the UAE truly want to commit to the country, commit to the next generation and what they are passionate about”.

Sheikh Ali Al Qasimi, the inspiration behind TGET, believes ‘this is the moment; this is now the opportunity we have needed to drive forward sport as an industry.  High Highnesses 30×30 campaign being launched at the same time as TGET has further inspired us to make us realize all the vital messages our brand can deliver”.  He further said “on behalf of Sheikha Latifa bin Ahmed al Maktoum and all the Ambassadors, we are proud to be a part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and we will commit to a future that motivates the UAE community to improve their fitness, understand team spirit and educates the next generation on the power of sport”.

(Ambassadors include Sheikha Latifa al Maktoum, Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah al Qasimi, Sheikh Ali bin Jamal al Nuaimi, Abdullah al Merri, Nadia Taryam, Salem Khamis al Suwaidi and Haytham Eid).  Series events 9th/10th November 2017, 14th/15th December 2017, 25th/26th January 2018, 15th/16th March 2018 with a GP Final on the 5th/6th April 2018.
