Event Drew Participation of 80 Players from the Middle East, UK, US, India, among others
Dubai-UAE: 02 April, 2018 –KEF Holdings, a UAE-based multinational diversified group that specializes in innovative offsite manufacturing technology and investments, concluded the Tenth Annual KEF Tennis Challenge, with an exciting finals match that witnessed Ajay CD and Nehal Gaonkar as the category A champions. The invitational Tennis Challenge reinforced KEF Holding’s continuous support to the betterment of society through the encouragement of sports in the region.
The three-day competition took place between the 29-31 March, and drew the participation of over 80 players from Middle East, UK, US and India.
To mark the tenth anniversary of the KEF’s Tennis Challenge, an exhibition match was held with two prominent wheelchair players. Boniface Prabhu, Paralympian and Indian Quadriplegic wheelchair tennis player, along with Prathima Rao, an International Indian wheelchair tennis player showcased their skill at wheelchair tennis. After the match, the players shared their journey and interacted with attendees at a French-Open themed dinner hosted to kick-off the tournament. During their talk, they encouraged everyone to always push boundaries both in life and sport to achieve success.

The first KEF Tennis Challenge was held in Bangalore, India in 2009 with just 30 players competing. In 2011 the tournament was shifted to UAE, where KEF is headquartered. Over the years its popularity has grown, and the attendance to the tournament doubled.
