TIME Hotels appoints new corporate director of housekeeping

Amar Purmessur takes on the overall responsibility for the planning, training and development of the TIME Hotels’ housekeeping department and its divisional workforce

UAE-headquartered hospitality company, TIME Hotels, has boosted its executive team with the appointment of new corporate director of housekeeping, Amar Purmessur.

Purmessur takes on the overall responsibility for the planning, organisation, training and development of the housekeeping department and its divisional workforce, whilst ensuring all members of staff at TIME Hotels comply with brand standards, policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery to our guests.

Hailing from Mauritius, Purmessur joins TIME Hotels with over 30 years of experience in the rooms division, having successfully worked in numerous roles across the housekeeping and laundry departments for some of the leading global hospitality companies including InterContinental Hotels Group, Rotana Hotels Group, Radisson Hotels and Banyan Tree.

Prior to accepting his latest role, Purmessur was executive housekeeper for Angsana Balaclava Resort in Mauritius where he was responsible for the quality and cleanliness of the overall resort, as well as overseeing all laundry operations within the hotel. Prior to that, he was a hospitality operations trainer for cruise ships, providing training to all housekeeping staff on health & safety and service standards.

His appointment follows that of Emad Farid – Vice President of Operations – who recently joined TIME Hotels. A corporate hospitality stalwart with over 18 years’ experience. In his role, Farid will work to maximise growth and profitability, while overseeing all day-to-day operations at TIME Hotels.
