About The Beach:
The Beach by Meraas is a laid-back beachfront that embodies life at its sunny best – the latest entertainment, delicious cuisine, unique shops, water sports and a fully equipped outdoor gym offering regular classes. Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, The Beach has 75 outlets and is an ideal place for people to connect and socialise, whether strolling the minimalistic walkways, shopping the latest trends, grabbing a bite or relaxing on golden white sands. The destination is also home to Roxy Cinemas, sports and leisure venue ‘Sea Breeze’, water play area ‘Splash Pad’, and a host of other options designed to make a day at The Beach one to remember.
About Al Seef
Al Seef is a bustling 1.8-kilometre waterfront promenade by Meraas designed to reflect the role the unique natural waterway at Dubai creek has played in shaping the culture and heritage of the city, past and present. Located close to the Al Fahidi Historical District, the destination invites people to rediscover the heart of the city, where local fishermen, pearl-divers, weavers and tradesmen once came to trade. It is home to two distinct heritage contemporary areas connected by lively sikkas and alleyways filled with captivating shops, cafes, restaurants, and three hotels – all offering a broad range of entertainment experiences. Al Seef also has a marina with 56 berths for private yachts, a traditional souk, floating markets and an events plaza that hosts a full calendar of events and activities taking place along the water’s edge.
About La Mer
La Mer is a world-class beachfront destination by Meraas that incorporates a minimalist and contemporary design with a unique mix of dining, shopping, leisure, entertainment, retail and hospitality experiences. Comprising three areas – La Mer South, La Mer North and Laguna, the venue houses 130 shops, cafés and restaurants, with 85 outlets currently
open to visitors. The destination is built around 2.5 kilometres of pristine sandy beach, spanning 13.4 million square feet of existing and reclaimed land.
La Mer takes its inspiration from the sea that carries objects people often consider redundant – washing these ‘treasures’ back up onshore to create magical sights. This theme resonates throughout the undulating layout, architecture and decor that shape a quaint and leisurely space where people can feel at ease the moment they step onto the boardwalk. Water play and beach activities are central to life at La Mer, as is evident from the sunloungers spread across the sand, cosy palm tree-shaded day rooms and wide variety of sports equipment available for rental.
Further upping the fun quotient at this aquatic destination, La Mer is home to Hawa Hawa – the first inflatable playground of its kind outside East Asia, featuring two dune-shaped domes and seven peaks. Meanwhile, the Laguna Waterpark comprises water slides among a raft of attractions for adults and children.
Those who fancy a more indoor experience to unwind, will love Roxy Cinema, Dubai’s most exclusive and premium movie-going experience, also opening soon at La Mer.
