SIKKA Café presents culinary journey with Emirati cuisine blending Persian and Indian influences

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 5 August 2018: Contemporary fusion eatery SIKKA Café is showcasing the SIKKA Experience at its City Walk and La Mer outlets. Priced at AED129, the set menu provides Dubai’s gourmets with the opportunity to savour 11 signature dishes in sample-sized portions and temptingly combines Emirati, Persian and Indian flavours in one complete meal.

Hearty mains include Machbous – slow-cooked aromatically spiced lamb with rice, Persian kebab – succulent beef and chicken pieces in spiced saffron yoghurt, and the house favourite, Butter Chicken – Boneless tandoori chicken in a lightly spiced tomato, cream and dry fenugreek gravy.

To wrap up the feast, the SIKKA Experience offers an innovative take on labneh with the Baked Labneh Cheesecake with date jam, and Legaimat – traditional Emirati sweet dumplings dipped in honey or date syrup.

To complement the sumptuous meal, diners can take their pick from the café’s eclectic drinks menu that offers a choice of traditional coffee and tea, as well as specialty concoctions such as Karak Frappé with caramel or date syrup, and a selection of healthy and delicious mocktails.

Reinterpreting wholesome traditional cuisines, SIKKA Café boasts a rich cultural vibe and blends flavours Emiratis have enjoyed for years, taking diners on a trip down memory lane as they enjoy its varied fare.

The SIKKA Experience can be enjoyed every day during lunch and dinner hours.
