Dubai – Catwalk International organized an elegant fashion show titled “The Shore Edition” at the beautiful Soho Beach, Meydan Hotel. The star designer at the show was the internationally acclaimed LA designer Nathalia Gaviria who traveled all the way from Los Angeles to present her latest collection for the first time in the region.

Gaviria who came with her creative director DeAnna Von Bonin, both visiting the city for the first time, were both impressed by the city’s skyline and all the glamour and sightseeing that the city has to offer. Gaviria who already has two stores, one in the trendy part of LA on Melrose street, and the other on the famous Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, said “I definitely can see a Nathalia Gaviria store in Dubai as it reminds me a lot of our flagship store on Rodeo Drive”.
The Shore Edition also featured two other designers; the first was Julia Safonova showing her latest collection titled the “Fairy Tale” under her fashion brand, Zafirah Fashion. The collection of her latest abayas and jalabeeyas was a luxury fairy tale, where crystals, feather and flowers are having beautiful dance in ocean waves, representing 4 elements of creation, which impressed the audience and media alike. Her style and approach of the traditional abaya was on another level of creativity and elegance.
The second designer to show was the Emirati based brand “Jolie” by designer and image consultant Sofie Hussein who showed the “Sophielous” collection, which was full of colors, and different creations that reflected the image of a modern professional woman.
The Shore Edition was organized with Bioderma as a Main Sponsor, Soho Beach as a Gold Sponsor, and Damas Car Rentals as the Silver Sponsor.
