Dubai South hosts its second Soccer tournament for logistics partners

In line with the “year of Tolerance”

As part of its continuing efforts to strengthen partnership among its stakeholders and promote a healthy and interactive community through sports activities, Dubai South has announced that is hosting its second football tournament for its logistics partners, which kicked off on April 22, 2019 at the Jebel Ali Shooting Club. The sports event falls in line with Dubai South’s commitment to promote the ‘Year of Tolerance’.

This year’s tournament is being held with the support of Aramex, RSA Global, and Aloft as Gold Sponsors. There are 16 teams competing, including Dubai South, MRS Packaging, ACI Logistics, Aramex Emirates, Capricorn Logistics, CWT-SML Logistics, Danzas AEI Emirates, Duserve, Expeditors, Emirates Logistics LLC, Keuhne+Nagel DWC, Keuhne+Nagel LLC, Nestle, RSA Global, RSA-TALKE, and Safran.

Mohsen Ahmad, CEO, Logistics District at Dubai South, said: “Through sports events such as the ongoing soccer tournament, Dubai South aims to continuously engage employees in healthy bodily activities while developing camaraderie, team spirit and sportsmanship within the community.
