Dubai, 3rd June 2019: Farzi Café, the modern spice bistro by ZorawarKalra, today opens its doors to its second Dubai outlet, at a prime location within Mall of the Emirates. The ongoing expansion of highly acclaimed restaurant concept underlines the regional success of this chic, contemporary brand and the strong reputation it has built within Dubai’s competitive dining scene.
First arriving in the UAE in 2016, Farzi Cafe offers guests a sensory, high-energy gourmet experience, amalgamating traditional global and Indian classics and infusing dishes using innovative techinques, molecular alchemy and creative presentations.
While “Farzi” can have numerous connotations, at Farzi Café it has just one, namely “creating an illusion” through its unique culinary philosophy. The menu clearly articulates this vision, with innovative twists on Indian classics such as Chili Spiked Beef Kulcha; tandoori kulcha stuffed with cheese and beef keema served with mint chutney and bell pepper dip and Raj Kachori, Crisp Okra Salad, Chutney Foam; crispy semolina shell stuffed with tangy pumpkin, sweetened yoghurt and mint chutney served with okra salad and chutney foam. The menu also skillfully embraces Western influences, flavors, with the Amritsari ‘Fish n Chips Chukki Peas Hummus, Farzi’s take on this British classic, and Deconstructed Shepherd’s Pie, Tawa Aloo, Seared Wagyu; chunks of wagyu beef cooked in Indian spices and served on a bed of mashed potato. The dessert offered selection showcases the artistry and delicacy of the pastry kitchen including Dirt Pile; a mélange of berries, toffee sauce, nougat, chocolate truffle balls, cake crumbs topped with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce, and Kunafa Nest, a ‘Farzified’take on the famous Arabic dessert.
Speaking on the launch, ZorawarKalra, Founder & Managing Director, Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (India) said: “We are delighted with the ongoing success of Farzi Café in the UAE.
