Dubai, UAE – 7 July 2019:The Noodle House, Dubai’s favourite homegrown legacy restaurant concept,is continuing its tantalising ‘Feed Your Asian Soul’ summer campaign – which has already taken in South Korea and Malaysia – with a limited-edition Taiwan-inspired menu.
Running until July 26, the Taiwan menu has been carefully-designed to let Dubai diners experience Taipei’s famed street-food dishes, including The Noodle House’s unique take on the world’s most expensive beef noodle dish.
Encompassing street favourites such as Taiwanese iced tea served with salted whipped cream and Osmanthus flower syrup (Dhs22), and Squid on a stick (Dhs39) – amust-try dish inspiredby the popular Shilin Night Market in Taipei, wherea whole squid is battered and deep fried.
Foodies will be lining up to try the Niu Ba Bastyle beef noodle (Dhs59), an Umami-packed dish inspired by Taipei’s very-ownUSD450 beef noodle soup. The Noodle House’s variation on the perennial favourite includes14-hour slow-braised beef, fresh egg noodles and skinned tomato.
Other treats include Mount Kong Run Bing(Dhs20),an ice-cream wrap filled with salted caramel, lemongrass-lime and lychee sorbet, coriander and peanuts, which is traditionally served at Jiufen Old Street, an historic area an hour’s journey from Taipei.
As part of the campaign, The Noodle House is running a ‘Snap it, Tag it, Share it’ social media competition where guests with the most creative social media images with the squid lollipop can win month-long free meals and would need to tag @thenoodlehousedxb.
The ‘Feed Your Asian Soul’ summer campaign was inspired by a five-leg tour undertaken by The Noodle House Brand Chef, Stefan Borchardt, and Operations Manager, Steven Holloway, to South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore in search of inspiration. Chef Borchardt said: “Taiwan is famed for its sumptuous night markets, hole-in-the-wall eateries and five-star luxury restaurants.In Taiwan, food is a national obsession.”
The special Taiwanese menu is available across The Noodle House’s Dubai outlets and the restaurant’s home delivery services for those who prefer dining in the comfort of their own home. A special package gives diners a beverage, appetiser, main course and dessert for just.Following the Taiwanese focus, The Noodle House will roll-out a country-specific menu for Singapore in August.
