Dubai, UAE – 04 September 2019:Trattoria Toscana, the upscale waterfront Italian dining destination at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is launching a special ‘Pizza Romana’ menu, available between 5 – 26September.
Known as the lighter option, Pizza Romana,(the ‘Roman style’ pizza) is famous for its crispy fragrant crust – the perfect sharing appetizer or alternative to the Neapolitan.
Crafted by Chef de Cuisine, Giorgio Minnone, the Pizza Romana menu will feature a selection of three toppings- the Pizza Romana alla Caprese with fresh datterino tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil and oregano; Pizza Romana Quattro Stagioni with turkey ham, artichoke, mushroom and black olives (; and Pizza Romana al Salmone with rocket leaves, marinated salmon, smoked burrata and lemon.
Chef Giorgiosays: “There’s more to pizza than a round crusty dough topped off with tomato and mozzarella. There are so many varieties of pizza as you step outside Naples and as an authentic Italian dining destination, our guests will experience our craft of pizza-making and styles from a variety of crusts, temperature and baking time, toppings and more. Personally, I think the Pizza Romana is the perfect starter before tucking into a hearty Italian feast!
