Dubai, November 2019:Dubai’s renowned Japanese chain of restaurant, Sumo Sushi & Bento aredonating 100% proceeds of its Carrot Top drink sold between November 1st – December 31st to theDubai Foundation for Women and Children. In a step towards spreading awareness and stop the violence against women, select Sumo outlets in the UAE join the 2019 UNiTE campaign by the United Nations.
UNiTE is a campaign to end violence against women with a multi-year effort aimed at preventing, eliminating and addressing the global pandemic of violence against women and girls around the world.

In 2019, the UNiTE campaign marks the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence starts November 25th until December 10th, under the theme, “Orange the World: Generation Equality Stands against Rape!”Sumo is joining the cause by extending the duration, starting November 1st until December 31stin order to raise funds and support this campaign with theDubai Foundation for Women and Children. All the gathered proceeds will be sent to the foundation within 30days after the campaign.
