‘Santa’s Island’ Returns to Blue waters for the Festive Season!

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 10thDecember2019: Bluewaters, the unique island destination by Meraas and home to the iconic Ain Dubai, is bringing ‘Santa’s Island’ back to its shores for an exciting‘advent calendar’ of fine festive food, entertainment and activities, from Thursday, 12th December 2019 to Wednesday, 1st January 2020.

The ultimate festive experience for all the family, the whole of Bluewaters island will be magically transformed into a jolly holiday wonderland every day from 4pm to 11pm during the week, and4pm to 12am from Thursday to Saturday.

Bluewaters’ scenic boardwalk, which boasts spectacular views across the water to Dubai Marina’s skyline, will play host to a fantasticfestive market, with participating outlets conjuring up a sumptuous selection of seasonal culinary experiences.

For the little ones, there will beinteractive entertainment including face painting, games stalls, arts n’ crafts and creative Christmas workshops where they’ll be able to decorate cookies or create their own Christmas cards or elf legs n’ hats to take home with them.

Each day, a feast of color and excitement will come courtesy of the Arctic Parade, bringing polar bears, eskimos, Jack n’ Jill Frost and the Ice Queen to thrill kids, big and small. Throughout the whole season, a magical atmosphere will be maintained by the roaming entertainers, carol singers and live musicians who will keep the mood festive all day long.

And of course, good ol’ Santa wouldn’t go to all this trouble to bring his very own Islandto Dubai without putting in an appearance himself!Santa’sGrottowill be hosting a meet n’ greet each day up until Christmas Eve, where the kids can say hello, and tell him what they really want for Christmas. Parents just have to make sure they’re within earshot, taking notes…

Adults aren’t left out either, asBluewaters is creating a ‘Parents’ Grotto’ at the market, where adults weary of all the Christmas shopping can take a seat and relax with a beverage while their little ones burn off all the ‘festive excitement’ before they go home!
