Known for its sumptuous and delicious African-inspired dishesandvivaciouslive music performances, the restaurant now occupies a prime position on Level Two, next to and shared walk-through with Eat Greek and neighbour to the busy VOX cinema.
Tribes’ new menu expresses African passion throughout, inspired by the flavours from the north, east, south and west of the diverse continent. The most popular dishes have been adapted to suit trendy diets, as well as some delectable new introductions.A selection of “Pre-feasts” is ideal for sharing-style starters, including the gourmet sausage platter with chargrilled beef, lamb, chicken and chorizo. New signature main dishes include a tasty grilled chicken salad, paired with baby gem lettuce and bacon.The venison steak, served with sautéed spinach, parsnip and cumin mash, roasted apple and your own choice of side order.
A range of refreshing beverages have been introduced to the fresh menu, from thirst-quenching mocktails and juices, nutrient-filled fruit smoothies, to an inventiveself-pour ice cubed coffee concept: served alongside warm milk and organic honey for sweetness. There are non-dairy and caffeine-free latte alternatives available, in the brand’s bid to cater to modern diets andensuring guests will successfully meet their health goals.

The reinventedvenue fulfills the brands’ desire of bringing people from all walks of life together over the African delight of eatingand sharing special moments with friends, family and loved ones.True African identity is expressed in the new décor, creative energy and inspiration communicated through earthy colours and roughly textured walls designed by artist Ndryko.Accommodating up to 200 people within the stylish new space, the brand has featured the handwoven Ori seat by South African designer LouwRoets: a modern take on traditional African weaving techniques. Guests can look forward to moreliveentertainmentshowcasing traditional tribal music featuring African drummers and singers.
