HALM AND KRISTINA FIDELSKAYA COLLABORATE ON A LIMITED-EDITION BAG COLLECTION

Brought together by the love of craftmanship and refined details, this season two Dubai-based and female-owned brands, HALM and Kristina Fidelskaya, have collaborated on four exclusive bags, as part of the Autumn-Winter 2020 “Dream” collection, set to launch in September.

The collaboration was conceived as a meeting of minds between the founders of each label, Hanna Ransjö and Kristina Fidelskaya, with both brands located in the city’s creative quarter, Dubai Design District. The partnership materialized organically through their mutual appreciation for creative artistry and fondness for high quality leatherwork – inspirited by their aligned aesthetic and attention to detail.علامتا هالم وكريستينا فيدلسكايا تتعاونان في إطلاق مجموعة دريم

“Our collaboration is an organic relationship that came about between two emerging brands. Our shared ethos and appreciation for curating classic pieces that can be handed down between generations, saw us come together to create a collection of handbags that embody both the HALM and Kristina Fidelskaya woman.” – Hanna Ransjö

The limited-edition bags represent a nostalgic yet modernized view of the future, one of hope and belief. Defining daring style, the bag collection is bold – composed of unusual forms, unique elements, and in the neutral shades Lin, Ebony & Kanel (Cinnamon in Swedish) – envisioned as timeless and made to endure a lifetime. The ‘Dream’ backpack and the ‘Bino’ handbag, are assorted to the Kristina Fidelskaya Autumn/Winter 2020 collection and are an exclusive addition to HALM’s seasonless collection.

The ‘Dream’ backpack, demure yet playful, will complement any sport luxe look and can also be paired with an elegant ensemble. The soft shape is designed for the comfort of everyday use, to showcase true versatility, which includes a removable mobile & card holder.

The Bino handbag is inspired by an antique binocular case, and memories of sightseeing safari expeditions – combined with the view of a personal journey & and the concept of time-travel. The Bino is created from HALM’s signature bull leather with a hard finish.

“The collaboration is a reflection of modern femininity, we want to create contemporary pieces, that conform to diverse styles & can be worn with easy, timeless accessories that have a story to tell. Such as ourselves, HALM is a young brand, with a real appreciation for high quality leatherwork – it was the perfect match. We share a same philosophy, and have a mutual understanding of the feminine ideals, interpreted into our pieces” – Kristina Fidelskaya

The limited-edition collection will be available in September 2020, in limited quantities in line with the collaboration’s sustainability stance focused on waste prevention, to encourage the redesign of resource life cycles of all retail products.

The bags will be exclusively available at HALM in Dubai Design District & halmonline.com –  as well as at Kristina Fidelskaya stores at The Dubai Mall & Mall of the Emirates, & online at kristinafidelskaya.com
