DAMAC Properties kicked off its Ramadan Sports Festival

DAMAC Properties kicked off its Ramadan Sports Festival over the weekend with great fanfare. Basketball and football teams competed in the growing AKOYA community for cash prizes, while children participated in the mini-Olympics.

We had 105 players take part in the games over the weekend and around 200 residents and spectators cheering their teams on from the stands.

Six football and six basketball teams competed on Friday and Saturday including many DAMAC staff participants with football teams representing DAMAC Hills, AKOYA, Paramount Hotel, Legal and the General Manager’s office. DAMAC Hills, AKOYA and the GM office teams were big winners. داماك العقارية تُطلق أول مهرجان رياضي لها

For basketball, Never Too Late, Wringers and Black Mamba were the victors.

The games will be going on until May 7 and will include a duathlon competition. Winners and runner ups participating in the festival will receive cash prizes and trophies.
