This event follows the in-store launch of Assouline’s special edition book, acting as a look back at our nation’s proud history from inside Mall of the Emirates’ most fashion-forward, experiential store.

Myrna Ayad’s literary homage to the UAE’s founding father is mapped by exclusive interviews, archival photographs and her own personal recollections of Sheikh Zayed, which she authored and released to coincide with the country’s fiftieth anniversary. The glossy pages reveal a whole world of artistic depth, focusing on the rich culture Ayad herself has experienced after almost four decades in the region.

Her profound knowledge of the nation’s heritage and sparkling insight promises a very lively discussion, especially with Anas Bukhash as her conversational partner.
