A culinary affair:
3Fils x Bella celebrates the culinary connections between Asia and Italy
A new kind of fusion cuisine has emerged combining the flavours of Italy and Asia.
A cooking collaboration like no other, Chef Carlos De Garza of 3Fils and Chef Nicholas Reina of Bella have ingeniously combined elements from each cuisine to bring a unique 12-course tasting menu for a limited time only.
At a glance, these two culinary cultures may not seem entirely compatible at first, but there are many shared sensibilities beyond noodles. The 3FILS x Bella menu explores links between Italian and Asian flavours with a nod to their signature dishes.
The 12-course tasting menu begins with a shitake mushroom croissant with seaweed burnt cream followed by Uni with whipped burrata and Shio Kombu Jelly and an Otoro pizza is topped with a chilli emulsion and koji. Other courses will see guests slurping on Tagliolini with a Japanese twist and a 72-hour braised short ribs with kalbi marinade with pickled apple and XO sauce. The desserts start with Miso crepes with Amarenti cherries dusted with Miso powder, a Timut frozen yoghurt drizzled with black cardamon oil and to end the menu, a Coffee Sorpresa.
The menu is designed to celebrate different ingredients and ways of cooking to bring a discovery experience to 3Fils and Bella guests.
Experience the 3FILS x Bella collaboration at 3FILS on 21st and 22nd June and at Bella on 28th and 29th June.
Founded in late November 2016, 3FILS is piloted by a team who live by a diehard daringness to be different, offering a story akin to the ‘2 cents worth’ opinion of dining in Dubai. With a harbour-side community style dining, 3FILS serves up premium Asian dishes with a Japanese twist as its focus.
For the many we have an intimate seating arrangement with 30 inside and 20 outside, pending on what Mother Nature allows. The 3FILS team is a family, available whenever you need them for anything, removing the “personal waiter” vibe of hospitality. They will help elevate your dining experience with a sense of comfort, discovery and sharing. No matter what attire you come in, our home is your home and the doors will always be open for you.
About Bella Restaurant & Lounge
Enter the Grand Millennium Hotel Business Bay and take the lift to the rooftop for an out-of-the-ordinary dining experience at the city’s new social hotspot: Bella.
Named after its owner, an Italian socialite, the venue spreads across two distinct spaces.
First, a loft-like lounge, where a private dining table presides above the retro-lit amber bar, dining alcoves and DJ booth. Then an effortlessly elegant dining room and bar, overlooking the hypnotic Dubai skyline and views of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
With its relaxed yet elegant décor, Bella pays tribute to great Italian classics infused with light Asian influences. Award-winning Chef Alessandro Miceli is at the helm of the venue’s culinary development with sidekick Stefano Bassanese working the floor.
