Alhamd Mosque opens at International City
A new mosque that can accommodate 500 worshippers at full capacity has opened at International City, master developer Nakheel announced today.
Alhamd Mosque, located in France Cluster next to the International City retail Pavilion, is the seventh to open at the community, with another five in the pipeline.
The mosque has a dedicated area for female worshippers, as well as onsite parking. All health and safety regulations apply.
Its opening comes two months after Nakheel opened new mosques at Jumeirah Village Circle and Jumeirah Park.
One of Nakheel’s largest mixed-used communities, International City spans 714 hectares and is home to 105,000 residents living in nearly 500 buildings.
