Daily Chopin performances by young Polish pianists enliven Poland Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

DUBAI, 21 November 2021 – The works of legendary Polish composer Chopin are being brought to life by young pianists at the Poland Pavilion three times a day, as a tribute to one of the country’s greatest musical geniuses, who lived during the 19th century.

The pianists are all students of the Chopin Institute, based in Warsaw, which operates a museum and a five-yearly piano competition, who are flown into Dubai to give mini recitals featuring the composer’s greatest pieces. Each week a different young pianist moves in to give his own interpretation of Chopin’s works.

The mini-recitals take place daily in the Poland Pavilion at 1600, 1830 and 2100, and will continue until the end of Expo.
