HE Sheikh Nahayan said: “Belarus’s participation under the theme ‘Forest of Future Technology’ is a powerful one and a representation of its national priorities, showcasing it as a technologically advanced, innovative and environmentally friendly country, with a highly educated population. Located in the Opportunity District, the Belarus Pavilion honours the harmony between nature and technology, with its luminous green ‘smart forest’. Including a digital grove of stylised trees, it pays tribute to a country that is an emerging high-tech hub that thrives alongside the ancient Belovezhskaya Pushcha, one of Europe’s last remaining primeval forests.

National and Honour Days at Expo 2020 Dubai are moments to celebrate each of the 200-plus International Participants, shining a light on their culture and achievements and showcasing their pavilions and programming. Each features a flag-raising ceremony at the Stage of Nations in Al Wasl Plaza, followed by speeches and cultural performances.

Running until 31 March 2022, Expo 2020 invites visitors from across the planet to join the making of a new world in a six-month celebration of human creativity, innovation, progress and culture.
