Expo Media Services celebrates major win at Broadcast Pro Awards for its sophisticated cloud-based Media Asset Management system

DUBAI, 25 November 2021 – Expo’s Media Services and Media Asset Management Team has won a major Middle East award for its cloud-based Media Asset Management (MAM) system, clinching the ASBU BroadcastPro Middle East Award for Innovative Project of the Year at the recent Broadcast Pro Summit and Awards.

Mandy Keegan, Vice President – Media Services, said: “We are honoured to have been recognised by the BroadcastPro Awards for the Innovative Project of the Year Award. This achievement is the culmination of very detailed planning of a platform that provides easy access to the world’s media of all the incredible moving image and photography being produced at Expo. It is also a great collaboration between Expo’s Media and Innovation and Future Technologies teams, as well as our external stakeholders Broadcast Solutions, Imagen, Newsbridge and Editshare. I am delighted that this fantastic teamwork has been rewarded.”

This may sound pretty straightforward to many, but for broadcast industry standards we have built a system that sits right at the top. It is great to see this being recognised.”

The MAM ensures that accredited media has access to all high-resolution visual content produced by the Expo Media Services team.
