DUBAI, 5 December 2021: Santa Claus will be arriving at Expo 2020 Dubai on 17 December all the way from his workshop in Korvatunturi, Finland, to greet visitors to the Finland Pavilion. Taking a short break from his busy schedule, Santa will meet adults and children daily for photo opportunities and to hear Christmas wishes.

There are few people so instantly recognisable and so beloved as Santa Claus. The jolly old man radiates warmth and inspiration and is a symbol of goodwill and giving all over the world. Santa’s annual mission is to deliver happiness worldwide, with the help of his team of trusty elves and reindeers. With the happiness that Santa brings and his message of hope and joy, it should come as no surprise that Santa is, in fact, from Lapland in Northern Finland.

To support Finland’s pavilion theme of ‘Sharing Future Happiness’, Santa will be also be asking visitors what makes them happy in the hope of spreading Christmas cheer to all.

Leaving just in time to start his deliveries on Christmas Eve, Santa will be meeting visitors to Finland’s Snow Cape pavilion until December 22, 2021. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips to meet Santa Claus early to avoid disappointment.

Santa will be at Expo 2020 Dubai daily from 1100 to 2000. A full timetable will be published nearer the time on the Finland Expo 2020 Dubai social media channels

{:}{:ar}دبي، 05 ديسمبر 2021 –  ستكون هذه السنة استثنائية للأطفال، فبعد مرور فترة صعبة بسبب الظروف التي فرضتها جائحة كوفيد_19، يتسنى للصغار، أخيراً، رؤية سانتا كلوز الحقيقي الذي سيحضر خصيصاً من فنلندا “بلد الميلاد”، ليشارك زوار إكسبو 2020 دبي فرحة الأعياد والسنة الجديدة.

يأخذ سانتا كلوز استراحة قصيرة من إعداد الهدايا، ليقلع من مقره بشمال فنلندا في منتصف شهر ديسمبر، كي يتواجد في اكسبو 2020 وفي جناح دولة فنلندا تحديداً، خلال الفترة بين 17 و 22 ديسمبر 2021، ويقوم بتحية زوار الجناح الفنلندي والتقاط الصور التذكارية معهم والاستماع إلى أمنياتهم ورغباتهم قبل أيام قليلة تفصلهم عن العيد.

ويستقبل سانتا الزوار في كوخه الثلجي بالجناح من الساعة 11 صباحاً وحتى 8 مساءً، ليسألهم عن الأشياء التي تجعلهم يشعرون بالسعادة، انطلاقا من موضوع الجناح الفنلندي “مشاركة السعادة المستقبلية”، على أمل نشر الفرحة والبهجة بين الجميع في عيد الميلاد.

تعرف فلندا بأنها الموطن الحقيق لسانتا كلوز، ويتهاتف على زيارتها آلاف السياح سنوياً للاستمتاع بفترة الأعياد وسط شتاء ثلجي يضفي طابعاً سحرياً عليها.

ويحتفي إكسبو 2020 دبي بموسم الأعياد من خلال عروض متنوعة تزين مختلف المنصات، بالإضافة إلى عروض خاصة لأفلام العطلات على منصة الألفية، وستكون الاحتفالات في ساحة الوصل استثنائية، حيث تستحضر أجواء الأعياد بكل تفاصيلها.{:}
