Marie’s journey in the hospitality sector began as a Sales Secretary, from where she has consistently ascended through the ranks, holding positions as Marketing & Communications Executive and Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications, before earning her latest title. Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in orchestrating the marketing strategies and communication efforts that have propelled the brands she has worked with to new heights.
A highlight of Marie’s illustrious career includes her pivotal roles in handling two major rebranding projects for hotels under the prestigious AccorHotels and Marriott International brands. Moreover, she played a critical role in the launch of one StayWell brand in the region while managing marketing and communications for other Park Regis Hotels which she serves as a Regional Marketing & Communications Manager.
Marie’s achievements include the successful opening of the first-ever Swissotel in the UAE, an AccorHotels venture in 2017, and the largest Rotana Hotels & Resorts property in the region in 2012. Her dedication and exceptional work have not gone unnoticed, earning her the title of Employee of the Year and a nomination for CSR Person of the Year by Hotelier Middle East.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Marie is a recognized figure in the digital sphere, serving as an Influencer, Content Creator, Lifestyle and Food Blogger, and Tiktoker in her free time. She has collaborated with renowned brands, promoting significant events like the Dubai Travel Destination and Dubai Shopping Festival by Dubai Tourism.
Marie has also been featured on prestigious media platforms including Dubai Sports TV, Khaleej Times, Kapamilya TFC TV Channel, The Filipino Times, The Global Filipino Magazine, and Lovin Dubai.
Her contribution as one of the speakers at the largest Philippine Twin Investment Summit and EXPO in Dubai, in collaboration with The Filipino Times and PPIE, underscores her influence and commitment to promoting growth and investment opportunities.
