First of all, I studied at the University of Technology in Graz, Austria, where I completed my PhD in brain-computer interfaces (BCI). My academic journey took me to Johns Hopkins University in the USA, where I learned from leading experts in the field, including Professor Gert Pfurtscheller, who was pioneering BCI systems. This exposure ignited my passion for neurotechnology and solidified my decision to pursue a career in this exciting domain.
After finishing my PhD in 1999, I noticed a growing interest in BCI technology; many people were asking where they could purchase BCI systems. This demand inspired me to establish g.tec medical engineering.
