Central Pattana plc, Thailand’s leading real estate developer for sustainability and operator of Central shopping centers nationwide, is set to stimulate purchasing power and boost the Thai economy in the final quarter of 2024. The company is joining forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Embassy of Finland, Sculptra by Galderma, Finnair, and other key partners to invest 700 million baht in the ‘The World’s Great Celebration 2025’ campaign. This campaign will transform Central shopping centers nationwide into a ‘Santa Village Themed Park Experience’—a first for Thailand.
Visitors can meet Santa Claus, the beloved symbol of Christmas, sent directly from Finland as the cultural ambassador for festive celebrations. The centerpiece of this experience will be at Central World Bangkok with ‘The First Art Toy Xmas Decoration in the World.’ This year-end event is set to attract both Thai and international tourists to Central shopping malls across Thailand, including Central World Bangkok, Central Village Bangkok Luxury Outlet, Central Phuket, Central Chiangmai, Central Pattaya, and Central Hatyai. The campaign runs from November 1, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

In collaboration with travel platforms like KLOOK, we are extending the tourist hub from Central World to Central Pattaya and Central Chiangmai. This year is special, as Central World, Central Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiangmai shopping centers have received ‘Traveler’s Choice Awards’ from TripAdvisor, reinforcing our commitment to quality and raising Thailand’s global profile,” said Dr. Nattakit.
- National Impact: “We are promoting Thailand’s soft power by showcasing Christmas trees reflecting local identities at our eleven shopping centers nationwide, along with craft markets at five branches in major and secondary cities.
