Dubai, Thursday 10th April – Bringing Dubai’s newest social dining space to life with a bold yet refined take on casual Japanese cuisine, ALBA Street has opened at Social Distrikt. The homegrown concept comes from the dynamic team behind the award-winning ALBA Restaurant in Downtown Dubai, bringing the brand’s high-end, high-energy experience into a laid-back, fun and approachable setting.
Located in the heart of Social Distrikt – a new experiential food hall in Dubai Mall Fountain Views – ALBA Street takes ALBA’s refined menu and gives it a playful streetfood twist. Led by Brand Chef Chistyakov Vladimir, the menu features dishes using carefully sourced high-quality ingredients, reimagined into bite-sized, shareable and hearty takeaway dishes.
Guests take their seats in a shared 40-cover designated space, soaking up the vibe from Dubai’s newest social dining destination beneath ALBA Street’s bold and daring graffiti. Adding to the immersive experience, distinct branding depicts a playful twist on traditional Japanese scenes, while an open kitchen creates the feeling of a neighbourhood Izayaka.
The menu includes ALBA Restaurant favourites alongside new dishes re-imaged for ALBA Street, offering a selection of nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls and onigiri alongside burgers and miso- and matcha-infused desserts. Highlights include handrolls with the finest ingredients like king crab, uni, scallop and A5 wagyu and boxes of fresh sashimi and nigiri to take-away. Diners will delight in ALBA’s famous A5 Wagyu Kimchi Burger and Yuzu Chili Chicken Burger, both packing a punch, alongside value combo meals with playful names like ‘Samurai’, ‘Cheat Day’ and ‘Sumo Snack Attack;’. All complemented with an offering of housemade, speciality beverages to wash it all down, from the zingy Milk Oolong Mango Lemonade and refreshing Pink Sakura Water to trending Hojicha Latte Tea and Miso Latte Coffee.
ALBA Street is open from 11am to 11pm Sun – Thurs, 11am to midnight Fri – Sat at Social Distrikt and available for dine-in, takeaway and via home delivery.
