Highly Anticipated Action Thriller Starring Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson and

Thandiwe Newton Comes to Cinemas  Regionally on 19^th August, 2021

The trailer was released today for writer/director/producer Lisa Joy’s action thriller “Reminiscence,” starring Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton. The Warner Bros. Pictures’ film will be released this summer on 19^th August.

In the film, Nick Bannister (Jackman), a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae (Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As Bannister fights to find the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy, and must ultimately answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?b

Alongside Oscar nominee Jackman (“Les Misérables,” “The Greatest Showman”), Ferguson (upcoming “Dune,” the “Mission: Impossible” films) and Newton, (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”), the film stars Cliff Curtis (“The Meg,” “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”), Oscar nominee Marina de Tavira (“Roma”), Daniel Wu (TV’s “Into the Badlands,” “Warcraft”), Mojean Aria (TV’s “See” and “Dead Lucky”), Brett Cullen (“Joker”), Natalie Martinez (“The Stand” and “The Fugitive” series), Angela Sarafyan (“Westworld”) and Nico Parker (“Dumbo”).

Joy (“Westworld”) makes her feature film directing debut with “Reminiscence”, and directs from her own original screenplay. The film is produced by Joy, Jonathan Nolan, Michael De Luca and Aaron Ryder. The executive producers are Athena Wickham, Elishia Holmes and Scott Lumpkin.

Joy’s creative team includes several of her “Westworld” collaborators, including director of photography Paul Cameron, production designer Howard Cummings, editor Mark Yoshikawa and composer Ramin Djawadi, along with costume designer Jennifer Starzyk (“Bill & Ted Face the Music”).

Warner Bros. Pictures presents A Kilter Films / Michael De Luca / Filmnation Production, a Film by Lisa Joy, “Reminiscence.” The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is set for release in theaters in the region on 19^th August 2021.

تم اليوم إطلاق المقطع الترويجي لفيلم الحركة والتشويق Reminiscence (رحلة عبر الذاكرة) للكاتبة والمخرجة والمنتجة ليزا جوي، والذي يتألّق فيه عدد من النجوم العالميين مثل هيو جاكمان وريبيكا فيرغوسون وثاندي نيوتون. وسيصدر فيلم شركة ’وارنر براذرز بيكتشرز‘ (Warner Bros. Pictures) هذا الصيف وذلك في 19 أغسطس القادم.

ويلعب جاكمان في الفيلم دور نيك بانيستر، المحقّق الخاص الذي يعمل على سبر أغوار العقل واستكشاف عالم الماضي المليء بالأسرار المظلمة والمغرية وذلك عبر مساعدة عملائه في الوصول إلى الذكريات المفقودة. ويعيش بانيستر على تخوم ساحل ميامي الغارق، وتتغيّر حياته للأبد عند استقباله عميله جديدة هي ماي التي تلعب دورها فيرغوسون. وضمن هذا الإطار، تتحوّل مسألة بسيطة حول الفقدان والتذكّر لتصبح بمثابة هاجس خطير جداً. وفي ظل سعي بانيستر الحثيث ومقاومته العنيفة لاكتشاف الحقيقة حول اختفاء ماي، فإنه يتعرّف على مؤامرة خطيرة جداً، ويكون عليه عندها الإجابة على سؤال ملحّ ودقيق: إلى أي مدى يمكن المضي في التمسّك بمن نحب؟

وإلى جانب جاكمان الذي ترشّح لجائزة الأوسكار (أفلام Les Misérables وThe Greatest Showman)، وفيرغوسون (فيلم Dune  القادم، وأفلام Mission: Impossible) ونيوتون (فيلم Solo: A Star Wars Story)، يشارك في بطولة Reminiscence كل من كليف كورتيس (أفلام The Meg، Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw)، مارينا دي تافيرا المرشّحة لجائزة الأوسكار (فيلم Roma)، دانييل وو (مسلسل Into the Badlands التلفزيوني، فيلم Warcraft)، موجين آريا (مسلسلات See وDead Lucky التلفزيونية)، بريت كولين (فيلم Joker)، ناتالي مارتينيز (مسلسلات The Stand وThe Fugitive)، أنجيلا سارافيان (مسلسل Westworld) ونيكو باركر (فيلم Dumbo).

وتبرع جوي (التي عملت على فيلم Westworld) في إخراج فيلمها الرئيسي الأول Reminiscence بالارتكاز على النص السينمائي الأصلي الخاص بها. والفيلم من إنتاجها إلى جانب جوناثان نولان، مايكل دي لوكا وآرون رايدر. أما الإنتاج التنفيذي فكان من نصيب أثينا ويكهام وإليشيا هولمز وسكوت لامبكين.

كما يضم فريق جوي الإبداعي العديد من الأسماء التي تعاونت معها في فيلم Westworld، ومن بينهم مدير التصوير بول كاميرون، مصمّم الإنتاج هوارد كامينغز، المحرّر مارك يوشيكاوا والمؤلّف الموسيقي رامين جوادي، إضافة إلى مصمّمة الأزياء جنيفير ستارزيك (فيلم Bill & Ted Face the Music).

وتتعاون ’وارنر براذرز بيكتشرز‘ مع استوديو الإنتاج ’كيلتر فيلمز‘ (Kilter Films) والمنتج مايكل دي لوكا وشركة الإنتاج ’فيلمنايشن‘ (Filmnation) لإطلاق Reminiscence للكاتبة والمخرجة والمنتجة ليزا جوي. وسيتم توزيع الفيلم حول العالم بواسطة ’وارنر براذرز بيكتشرز‘. ومن المقرَّر البدء بعرضه في صالات السينما بالمنطقة بتاريخ 19 أغسطس 2021.{:}
