A deep dive into the iconic new collection by designer Paola Navone

Product designer, interior decorator, art director and architect Paola Navone envisioned living art when designing her collection Argo. An expression meant to immediately bring to mind Puglia, Italy – the birth home of the Natuzzi Italia Brand – Navone wanted her pieces to represent a love letter to the Mediterranean setting.

With large solid pieces and fabric representing sunny skies, azure beaches and summer feels, Argo is Natuzzi at its finest. When the art is expressive, edgy and practical – a collage of elements that tells a story and defines any living space it is displayed in.

ARGO COLLECTION – Sleeping Argo

For the Argo collection, Navone takes her inspiration from Mediterranean colours and traditions, creating a collection focusing on simplicity and details which evokes a peaceful and relaxed lifestyle and a way of relating to the Earth and to Mother Nature. The Sleeping Argo chaise longue, with a hospitable and welcoming spirit, flows sinuously to accommodate different resting position thanks to the cutting-edge electric mechanisms, operated using touch buttons.

With its cloud like dimensions and design, Argo is softness by definition – a lush inviting piece that basically pleads with you to sink into its padding and embrace the notion of total relaxation on a living breathing piece of art.
