Okay, can you please tell me about danube group?
Formed in 1993. today, we are 28 years and it started as a very small company when me and my wife were managing this company and by God’s grace we have now three thousand six hundred employees working in the company and in danube group they are three main companies. one is danube building materials, danube home and danube properties
So danube building materials was the the first company . Then in 1997, we found danube home. And after that in 2014, we found danube properties. So, it’s a long journey and Allhamdulilah I’m very happy to say that all the three companies are doing very well in this pandemic.
Was it easy to start?
No, not at all. When you start a company and it’s a big task, it’s not easy but then it’s always one have to remember that we have to have a vision every year, and what you want to do and we always work out a strategy that when we will be in the next three years. And I always get my people to do the same thing that what you want to do and where you want to be in the next three years. Focus on that goal.
Work on that goal and try to achieve that, and that’s what we do. We don’t plan 20 years down the line. But yes, three years today, I know exactly after three years, what I want to do and not only me, across all the companies, all my people who are working, they have the whole idea.
it is not easy not to make a big company was it alone or someone support you?,
You can never become so big if you try to manage everything alone
It’s important to have the right people working for you. And when you have the right people, You need to tell them to do the work. And whether you’ll be surprised that sometimes, not sometimes but many times I have found people who are working better than me, just have to guide them, you have to Mentor them. You have to give them the full confidence, you have to support them, if they make a mistake. You also have to tell them, no problem. This happens. Go ahead and I’m there for you. And if you do that they are always very positive and they work for the company and they do better. And that is the only way , you cannot grow big If you think everything you would want to do alone.
Did you meet any challenges?
I have faced with many challenges, In these so many years, many challenges First of all, I remember how in my life The first challenge was when my dad expired, I was the only earning member so i had to work hard and make sure my family is happy and they are getting proper food and shelter
After that I went to Kuwait, Saddam Hussein comes in. That was the Second Challenge that I faced. I come out of the challenge. Third, I came to dubai, started my company so that was a Big Challenge again. After I started the company, the fourth challenge came was the Lehman Brothers crisis, where everybody lost money and you know everything going down during the peak of the business and all my collection stuff.
So that was the biggest challenge and now lately, the covid crises challenge . Everybody went through a lot of trouble. So of-course you have challenges, but you have to come out of the challenges and work positively, because I always feel for every problem, there is a solution. And if you find that solution with a positive mind, you can overcome their challenges with any problem.
was it your dream to have a company like this when you were a child?
I never thought I’m going to have such a big company. When I was a child, I’m selling books, I’m selling firecrackers, I never thought I will be having such a big company, but like as I said, every three years from the last time I was born that looking ahead after three years, When I was selling books, I wanted to make a book shop. When I was selling crackers, I want to make a cracker shop, so,every three years I should plan that. Okay, this is what I want to do and then slowly slowly when I started to build my building Material Company, I wanted to make it the number one building material company . now it’s easier to say that you want to make it the number one building material company. But then what you have to do to make the number one building material is i should have everything which will be requiring. so that’s why we have added a lot of things, which is required in the building material company., if I have to be number 1 building material i cannot be sitting in one place and become the number one building material company so we opened more than 50 shops across the GCC countries. And we started supplying more than fifty shops. so today, if you look at it, the reason we are called the number one building materials is because we have so many products and they are across everywhere and the same formula we applied for danube home, we added more and more products. Same thing in the property. Also, we came out with the unique thing, when answering to your question when I started my company, I never knew what i was going to be, but when I started my company, I had certain things in mind that, okay this is the way I’m going to do and these are going to make me big and we focus on that.
what did you learn from your father?
My father. He was a big mentor for me, he taught me many things. One of the most important things which I learned from him, is he used to always tell me never burn the bridges. When I Say Never burn the bridges He used to have a boss above him and he and his boss used to always have some friction or some fight. So my boss, my father’s become very angry in the house that My boss is not good and I’m going to resign my company but, the boss was very smart. What he did the next day is call my father. Hello, Mr. sajan come.here we have to do this work . What did you bring to eat? Let’s eat together because, my father’s boss wanted work from my father and about that so he used to butter him again and get the work done. So he used to come and tell me I want you to become not like me, you should become like my boss, I said how dad. How can I do that? he used to tell me to never burn the bridges means, if you have a fight with somebody don’t break up, always keep that line where you are able to talk to him. and he will pick up.
What did Dubai give you?
I think if I was not in Dubai I wouldn’t have been so successful, not only me, there are many people like you and me who started their career in Dubai.
The most important thing, Dubai gives you is flexibility to work business and country environment. They make your business process, so easy that you can only focus on your business, like many countries, when you go to work you have to worry about many things, but here you do not have to worry about visas here you don’t have to worry about any of your finances, the banks are willing to help you, you do not have to worry about your rental there is enough place available for rent in jebel ali free zone they give you place at a very good rate. The government is willing to help you for any of your requirement’s. If you are getting stuck in any any approval, they will help you in that. So, what more do the businessmen want, and most important thing Because Dubai located in the very center place, people from all over the world want to Come and do business with you. And then most important thing is Dubai vision leaders are so big and so strong that they keep on expanding in Dubai, so for a Person like me who is into the construction business. You know, it was very helpful because I’m in Dubai. Because from the time I came dubai is keeping on building and building, and building, and building, and that helped me to sell all my building materials to all the buildings which are there.
could you tell me about the other brands you have?
as i have mentioned, In Danube we have danube building materials we have danube home then we have danube properties and we also have a luxury brand called casa milano. casa milano we have to sell to the rich people also because of that we have decided when I made my house, I had to go to Malaysia, I had to go to Italy I had to go to China to pick up different expensive stuff. so then i decided that why not i make a shop here which everything I can bring from Germany, Italy from where expensive products you need. And I have all the big brands and agencies in the casa milano brand and this particular brand caters to who has the money.
did covid affect your business
yes of-course it did, for a short time for four months, four months we had no sales and the salaries are going out and the rents had to be paid but luckily the government acted so fast they did sanitize the whole city they made sure everybody could start working, the opened up everything. business today in UAE is as normal as it was pre-covid. If it was not for UAE probably my business would be still suffering. so many neighboring countries are in a very bad shape. So luckily we are in Dubai. We are fine.
your goals?
My goal, my goal is to always ensure that my customers are happy. Whenever, if I achieve that the customer is happy and then I will be also happy Because if my customer happy, then they will come and buy from me. And that is what I teach all my people. And that is when you sell something a customer like a, bathroom fitting, or you sell a property or you sell building materials, you should always commit to the customer what you can deliver, do not commit to something which you cannot deliver, make your customer happy. And he’s happy, he will keep on bringing in more and more customers. And this is what I want to do, all the years also. And this is one of the reason, I will say the success of my company that we always have kept customers the key, always ensured that he is a happy man, because if he’s happy, he will come and buy it. Not only by for me, but is going to tell neighbor to buy.
Did you get support from your wife?
I do. But to be honest, I’m a businessman more. But yes of course, I try to do little bit here and there, What we do here also is Teaching all the blue collar workers, English, we teach them English. We teach them basic computer, we teach them basic grooming. Now, what happens is, if a worker is working for any company and he does not know English, he will be keeping on working till after 10 years with the same salary of 1200 to 1500 dirhams but if you learn this English, automatically salaries upgraded and ticked off by 300, 400 and 500 dirham for him, this 500 dirham is too much money because just because he’s learning English but, if he learns to use the computer another 500 To 1000. So we teach about almost thousand to two thousand people every year when we upgrade all the skills of these labor class people and making them better and better today, if you go to any of my school, if you have time, I would want you to interview them to see how all the school children are studying over there and they’re so happy studying there, they will be very happy. You will be also happy.
And not only teach them, we keep some musical parties for them, we give them eid parties for them. You know we try to show them a movie and make them very very happy other than of course the other thing which we do at this side this is to my heart and well, during the covid crises We gave 50,000 foods kit. I mean, when a lot of people lost their job. So these are the small things I keep doing and the school Which is being run. and the same formula is being implemented in my home country India. Also, we do it in Bombay.
behind every successful man there is a wife. she is my charm She’s the one who supported me because whatever you do. If you do not have the luck with you, you can never succeed. So I think my luck and I always say that my lucky charm is with my wife and also of-course because of the All mighty God they have given us all the blessings that we are able to do all this.
Its not easy to do all this, so how?
I have been gifted with God’s Gift. The biggest gift I have is my smile So I always look at all the problems with a solution because, I feel that every problem has a solution and if you think in a positive way, if you think with a smile, you can come out with that one, there are many people even for a small problem. They create such a big issue. Oh, this happened. I lost my wallet and I don’t know what to do, and I’m going to revert out the wallet. But here we are facing so many big issues over here. We always smile at it. We have figured out what to do and try to overcome that problem. And I always tell everybody that if you have a problem,
Don’t you keep crying, try to figure out a problem? Sit down calmly, sit down with a smile. When there is a problem there is a solution also.
Where did you expand you business?
yes, we have now in africa, we are presenting many countries in africa. we have in Uganda, tanzania and so on many stores of danube home now. we have all these countries, almost 19 countries and in Nepal We have recently signed with Bangladesh too i have signed with Pakistan also, you are going to see danube home everywhere and soon we will have to figure out east Europe.
We have a lot of step by step processes. We have logistics department hr department audit department , so we have separate separate department, and so if i have a branch, I’ll be having a good branch manager over there, he is taking care of the branch and now from here you have the purchase department whom will purchase everything and supply to the branch. again comes the branch manager’s role to sell the material in the market and recover the money hence recovering the money there will be a credit control department.
so we have created all these different processes everywhere and that’s how the business runs.
how good is the construction market now?
The construction market is very very good now and i feel the construction will stay good for other 2 to 3 years without any problems.
also as of now the prices are rising and also of projects are going to be implemented and therefore will sell more products.
what make danube construction unique then others?
what makes our construction unique is that we deal with so many products because if you go to any of the other competitors you will find that they are selling only few products while we are selling many many products
what advice you have for the young entrepreneurs?
i advice them to first of all to figure out what you want to do…. because many of the young people they say they want to do this and that, figure out your strength first, if your strength is cooking be a chef and if your strength is seller , be a salesman after you have figured out your strength, work in a company which allows you to develop that strength and work with a company in such a way that you should be able to add a new skill or a new value to your job. Now if i’m going to be a cook and if im only going to cook Indian food i won’t be getting anywhere ahead in life , where as if im going to be learning Italian food or chinese. So same thing you will need to figure out what extra skill you can add and then make a plan for the next three years and gradually grow.
how do you keep a balanced life style?
My life style most constants of work work work and that’s mostly what i think about.
I like to party tho with my friends and family members on the weekends. we always have house parties with the friends and family members.
Also i spend sometime with my children and grandchildren.
About Expo 2020
we are lucky that we are able to supply our building material to majority of the different country stand. I think, more than 27 countries have been supplying. Our building material different product. I’m very happy about this, and I think expo 2020 will bring a lot of business. Lot of positivity in the market, 25 million people are expected to come over here . so anybody who comes to dubai they don’t want to go back they be like Please, I want to stay here. so in conclusion expo 2020 is going to be a major success.

me and my son we have a really strong relationship together, we work together, dance together and we even have friends together.

Adel Sajan .. what did you learn from your father?
I’m truly blessed to get a father. Like Rizwan Sajan, not only he is a father, but he’s also always been a mentor, guide friend and, you know, more than this to father, so, whatever I am at work, and he was the one who motivated me, gave the platform started from a very, very young age into the work and made me who I’ am
I’m so lucky to be his son and really blessed and I’m sure A lot of people look up to them in such an inspiration, man. And so I have the honor of living that everyday living within every day. So thank you. God for giving me such an awesome father.
when you become rich day by day the child is born with a silver spoon. That mean he has all the luxuries and many of the time you will see that the child who is born in this luxury lifestyle is not focus into his business because everything to him is very easy. But I am so lucky that Adel in his work is so focused in the work in the family.
That he ensures that what I have created. He Will Carry in a much bigger way much longer. Now, this is very, very important for any father or any father and mother that this child takes his generation to the next level. And I also tell him that you should give your same teachings to your children. That when you may become big, they should be able to carry this flag of danube into future generations
Yeah, I think I know. So you know, the good thing about him is and not many people do that. He had he had the heart to delegate a lot more than he should have at some really young age. Like, remember when I graduated from college already at work, so long already exactly that you know, being given a business to run which is a multimillion-dollar business. So you know not many people do that and talk about the advice whenever I get stuck somewhere or it’s a big decision.
I always come up to my dad’s advice. So, yeah, that’s that’s that’s a big benefit from. That’s the plan. No, he put me to workin my building material company when I was, you know, when I was 13 years old. I’m going to go with that. And I have two young boys. So I’m hoping that by the age of 12, we put them as well. I guess the plan is because I always feel that, you know, if you don’t give that solid upbringing and that tough life initially and, you know, things make it easy for you, then you will not have the character or the character that started out in the open ocean. So you of course, what you see is much, much harder. You see it because he’s started from zero. I was lucky to have a father, to have a big platform. But having said that, you know, I had the values that leads to the rest of my life and that’s really helping me today. I hope I can pass up the same values ‘question unclear’ That’s what I mean, you know, if I had be foolish and selfish, if I know that somebody has worked so hard from the young age of 15, 16 years old, when he lost his dad to come from the slums of India and then to create a multi billion dollar empire that everybody’s looking at because so many families are dependent. So he’s done this from the ground up and he’s seen very difficult times, i would be extremely foolish not to utilise this and do this legacy forward, which is what. And that is that is and that is one of the motivation that keeps me working hard as-well so that, you know, i can build the bridge between the first generation and the next generation And take this business to the next step.

Oh, one word is difficult one, but that’s one thing. But he has so many good qualities that it’s one word is very, very difficult. But so the character characteristics is he’s always fighting very hard, working, very modest and balanced

حدثنا عن مجموعة الدانوب؟
تأسست عام 1993، أي منذ 28 سنة، كانت عبارة عن شركة صغيرة نديرها أنا وزوجتي، وبفضل الله أصبحت اليوم تضم 3600 موظفا، وتضم مجموعة الدانوب ثلات شركات رئيسية: الدانوب لمواد البناء التي تعتبر أول شركة لنا، الدانوب هوم التي رأت النور عام 1997 ثم الدانوب للعقارات التي أسست عام 2014، إنها رحلة طويلة لكن بفضل من الله أنا اليوم سعيد للغاية ويمكنني القول بأن الشركات الثلاث تشتغل جيدا في زمن وباء كوفيد 19.
هل كانت انطلاقتك الأولى سهلة؟
أبدا، عندما تبدا شركة تكون مهمة كبيرة. فهذا ليس بالأمر الهين، لكن بعد ذلك عليك أن تتذكر ان لديك رؤية كل عام، وما الذي ننوي القيام به، إذ نعمل وفق استراتيجية ما سنكون عليه في الأعوام الثلاثة القادمة، وهذا ما دأبنا أنا وفريقي في العمل على القيام به وما نصبو إليه في السنوات الثلاثة.
نعمل على هذه الخطة ونحاول تحقيقها، وهذا ما نقوم به، نحن لا نخطط لعشرين سنة في المستقبل، فقط ثلاثة سنوات، لأني أعرف جيدا ما الذي أصبو إليه ، وهذا يسري على جميع الشركات والعاملين فيها، كلنا على فكرة واحدة.
لكن ليس من السهل إدارة شركة بهذا الحجم دون مساعدة من الغير؟
لا يمكنك إطلاقا أن تصبح كبيرا إذا ما حاولت إنجاز كل شيء بمفردك، من المهم أن يكون لديك طاقم من الموظفين الجيدين، وعندما تتوفر عليهم عليك أن تطلب منهم إنجاز العمل، وقد تستغرب في بعض الأحيان بل في مرات عديدة وجدت موظفين لديهم كفاءة عالية تجعلني أكتفي بالارشاد والتوجيه، لكن عليك أيضا أن تمنحهم الثقة الكاملة والدعم، بل حثهم على الانطلاق ، في هذه الحالة يكون الموظف إيجابيا وينجز عمله بكل جد، وهذا هو الحل الوحيد، فلا يمكنك أن تزدهر وتتطور إذا ما اعتقدت أنك قادر على إنجاز كل شيء بمفردك.
ما هي التحديات التي واجهتك في مسيرتك العملية؟
واجهتني تحديات كثيرة، أول تحدي لا زلت أتذكره عندما توفي والدي وكنت الفرد الوحيد و المسؤول عن إعانة عائلتي، كان علي أن أكد بجد حتى أضمن لهم لقمة العيش والمأوى، بعد ذلك سافرت إلى الكويت وحصلت أزمة العراق، وكان هذا ثاني تحدي أواجهه، ثم سافرت لدبي، بدأت شركتي وكان هذا في حد ذاته تحديا كبيرا، ثم حصلت أزمة ليمان برادرز التي عصفت بالكل وانهارت معها شركات كانت تعيش في أوج ازدهارها، وآخر تحدي واجهني هو جائحة كوفيد 19 التي عان منها كل القطاعات، لكن رغم كل هذا عليك أن تتجاوز حدتها وتعمل بإيجابية لأني أومن بأن لكل مشكل حل إذا ما تعاملت معه بحكمة وتبصر.
هل راودك في الصغر حلم امتلاك شركة بهذا الحجم؟
لم أفكر يوما بامتلاك شركة كبيرة، عندما كنت طفلا كنت أبيع الكتب، ثم بعت المرفقعات النارية، لم يسبق لي أبدا أن فكرت في امتلاك شركة، لكن كما ذكرت سابقا، كنت دائما أتطلع إلى ما سأصبو إليه بعد ثلاثة سنوات، فمثلا عندما كنت أبيع الكتب فكرت في فتح متجر لبيع الكتب ونفس الشيء مع المفرقعات النارية، هذا ما كنت أفكر القيام به، وشيئا فشيئا بدأت في تأسيس شركة بيع مواد البناء، كنت أريدها أن تصبح الرقم واحد في مواد البناء، لكن كيف أجعلها تحتل هذه الرتبة، كان علي توفير كل ما يتطلبه الأمر، ولهذا السبب أضفنا الكثير من الأشياء التي تضمن لنا النجاح، إذ لا يمكنك الجلوس في مكان واحد لتصبح الرائد الأول، لذا فتحنا أزيد من 50 متجر عبر دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
واحتلالنا الصدارة الأولى في مواد البناء هو توفرنا على عدد كبير من المنتجات، ونفس الأسلوب نعتمده مع الدانوب هوم والعقار، حيث تفوقنا بالشيء المميز، وبالرد على سؤالك متى بدأت شركتك، لم أعرف أبدا ما الذي سأصبح عليه ، لكن عندما أنشأت شركتي كانت تدور في عقلي بعض الأمور ” حسنا هذا هو الأسلوب الذي علي اعتماده والذي سيقودني للنجاح” وركزنا على هذا.
ما الذي تعلمته من والدك؟
والدي رحمه الله كان موجها كبيرا لي، علمني أشياء كثيرة، ومن أهمها التروي وعدم التسرع في أخذ القرارات، فقد دأب على العمل تحت إمرة رئيس عمل وكانت تحدث بينهما مناوشات وشجارات، فكان والدي يرجع للبيت غاضبا لأن مديره لم يكن جيدا وأنه ينوي الاستقالة من عمله، لكن المدير كان ذكيا جدا، حيث يقوم في اليوم التالي بالاتصال بوالدي قائلا: ” مرحبا سيد ساجان، تعال هنا لنقوم بهذا العمل، ماذا أحضرت للأكل؟ دعونا نشارك الطعام معا” لأن رئيس والدي كان يريد العمل منه، لذا اعتاد المدير أن يطرئ على والدي حتى ينجز له العمل، فاعتاد والدي أن ينصحني بأن لا اكون مثله، بل مثل مديره، فأرد عليه كيف يمكنني القيام بذلك، فكان يرد بعدم قطع جسورالتواصل، إذ كنت في شجار مع أحد لا تقطع حبل التواصل بينكما، حافظ دائما على هذا الخيط الذي يربطكما ، حيث يمكنك أن تتحدث إليه وسوف يأخذ بهذا.
ما الذي قدمته دبي لك؟
أعتقد لو لم أكن في دبي لما كنت ناجحا، ليس أنا فقط، بل عدد كبير من الناس مثلي ومثلك الذين بدأوا حياتهم العملية في دبي، والشيء الأهم تمنحك دبي ليونة في إنجاز العمل، تجعل مسار عملك سهلا وممتعا وتدفعك للتركيز في عملك أكثر، وفي بلدان كثيرة التي تذهب للعمل فيها، ينتابك القلق في بعض الأمور، هنا تسهيلات في الحصول على التأشيرة، نفس الشيء بالنسبة للمسائل المالية حيث البنوك على استعداد لمساعدتك، ونفس الشيء بالنسبة للإيجار، حيث عدد كبير من الأماكن المتوفرة في المنطقة الحرة بجبل علي، إذ تمنحك السلطات مكانا بسعر معقول، ناهيك عن دور الحكومة في تسهيل معاملاتك ومشاريعك وهذا هو ما يبحث عنه رجال الاعمال، والأهم من ذلك هو موقع دبي الاستراتيجي، حيث تعد ال الأعمال، والأهم من ذلك موقع دبي الاستراتيجي ، حيث تعد قبلة لكل الباحثين عن العمل والأعمال، أضف إلى ذلك رؤية قادة دبي الرامية إلى مواصلة العمران والتوسع، لذلك وبالنسبة لي كشخص يعمل في مجال البناء، ساعدني هذا كثيرا لأنني في دبي وكانت الفترة التي أتيت فيها كانت دبي مستمرة في التشييد والبناء، مما ساعدني على بيع جميع مواد البناء الخاصة بي لجميع المباني الموجودة هناك.
حدثنا عن علاماتك التجارية التي تمتلكونها؟
كما ذكرت سابقا، لدينا الدانوب لمواد البناء، والدانوب هوم والدانوب للعقار ولدينا أيضا علامة تجارية فاخرة تدعى كازا ميلانو. هذه الأخيرة التي نبيعها لأثرياء ، لأني عندما بنيت بيتي، كان علي أن أذهب إلى ماليزيا،
لذلك قررت إنشاء متجر هنا يحتوي على كل ما يمكنني إحضاره من ألمانيا وإيطاليا حيث تحتاج إلى منتجات باهظة الثمن. ولدي جميع العلامات التجارية والوكالات الكبيرة في ماركة casa milano وهذه العلامة التجارية بالذات تقدم خدماتها لمن لديه المال.
هل أثرت كوفيد 19 في أعمالك التجارية؟
طبعا، لكن لفترة قصيرة امتدت لأربعة أشهر، لم تكن لنا مبيعات، وكان علينا دفع الرواتب والايجار، لكن لحسن الحظ تصرفت الحكومة فورا وعقمت كل المدينة فعادت الحياة إلى طبيعتها واستأنفت حركة العمل كما كان عليه الوضع قبل الوباء، نحن محظوظين لأننا في دبي وكل أمورنا على ما يرام..
ما هي اهدافك؟
هدفي هو التأكد من سعادة عملائي، فسعادة هؤلاء بمثابة سعادة لي، تحقيق سعادتهم يجعلهم يأتون للتبضع من عندنا، وهذا ما ألقنه للعاملين معي.فمثلا عندما تبيع شيئا ما لعميل ما، كتركيبة حمام أو عقار أو مواد بناء،
عليك أن تلتزم حيال العميل بما يمكنك تقديمه، ولاتلتزم بشيء لا يمكنك توفيره، أجعل عميلك سعيدا لأنه سيعمل على جلب الزبائن إليك، وهذا ما أسعى لفعله طوال السنين، إذ يمكنني القول أن هذا التعامل هو أحد أسباب نجاح شركتي ،رضا وإسعاد العميل مطلب أساسي.
عرفت بأعمالك الخيرية ، أين تجد نفسك أكثر، الأعمال الخيرية أو المشاريع والتجارة؟
أقوم بالأعمال الخيرية لكن حتى أكون أكثر صدقا، أنا رجل أعمال أكثر، لكن بكل تأكيد أحاول القيام بها. وهناك، ما نقوم به هنا هو تعليم الطبقة العاملة اللغة الانجليزية وبعض أسس الكمبيوتر، لأنه إذا كان العامل يعمل لدى شركة ولا يعرف الانجليزية، فسيستمر في نفس العمل ولعشرة أعوام براتب يتراوح بين 1200 إلى 1500 درهم، في حين إذا تعلم الانجليزية، سيحصل على زيادة في راتبه من 300 إلى 500 درهم، وتمثل هذه الزيادة الشيء الكثير بالنسبة له، أما إذا تعلم الحاسوب، فالزيادة ستكون أكثر وهكذا، لذا نقوم سنويا بتدريس حوالي ألف إلى ألفين من الطبقة العاملة لتحسين أوضاعهم، فما عليك سوى القيام بزيارة إلى مدرستي للاطلاع عن قرب عن أجواء الدراسة ومشاعر السعادة التي تغمرهم، وستشعرين بالسعادة.
إلى جانب التعليم نقوم أيضا ببعض الحفلات الموسيقية وحفلات الأعياد، نحاول أن نعرض لهم بعض الأفلام لبث السعادة في أنفسهم، فخلال أزمة كوفيد 19 قدمنا 50 الف وجبة طعام، لان عدد كبير من الناس فقدت وظائفها، وهذا جزء من الأعمال التي نقوم بها هنا ونفس الشيء نقوم بإنجازه في بومباي بالهند.

وراء كل رجل ناجج زوجة، إنها تعويذتي ، انها الوحيدة التي دعمتني لأنه مهما تقوم به ولم يكن الحظ حليفك لا يمكنك النجاح بتاتا، حظي مع زوجتي وبالطبع الفضل يعود لله الذي منحنا كل هذه النعم.
ليس من السهل القيام بكل هذه الأعمال
إنها هبة إلهية، أكبر هدية لدي هي ابتسامتي، لأني أنظر إلى كل مشكلة لها حل، ويمكنك بسعة الصدر والبشاشة مواجهة كل المشاكل التي تعترضك، فلا داعي لتضخيم الأمور بل التصدي لها بالابتسامة والروية، ولذلك كثيرا ما أخبر الجميع بأن لكل مشكلة حل، وذلك عن طريق الهدوء والتفاؤل، فليس هناك شيئا مستحيلا.
ألا تفكر في توسيع أعمالك إلى دول شمال افريقيا والشرق الاوسط؟
لدينا في افريقيا، في أوغندا وتانزانيا العديد من متاجر الدانوب هوم أي ما يقارب 19 بلدا و في النيبال وقد وقعنا مؤخرا عقدا مع بنغلاديش وباكستان ، وسترين الدانوب هوم في كل مكان وقريبا سنحل في شرق اوروبا.
ايضا لدينا العديد من العمليات المتدرجة، كما لدينا إدارة تدقيق الموارد البشرية في قسم اللوجستيات، ولدينا أيضا ادارة منفصلة، وبالتالي إذا كان لدي فرع سيكون تحت ادارة مدير جيد ، يشرف على كل عمليات الشراء والتوريد وكل العمليات المالية من بيع واسترداد للأموال، وكل هذا تحت قسم مراقبة الائتمان، لذلك أنشأنا كل هذه العمليات المختلفة في كل مكان وهذه هي الطريقة التي يعمل بها النشاط التجاري..
كيف هو حال سوق البناء حاليا؟
سوق البناء جيد جدًا الآن وأشعر أن البناء سيبقى جيدًا لمدة 2 إلى 3 سنوات أخرى دون أي مشاكل.
كما أن الأسعار آخذة في الارتفاع وسيتم تنفيذ المشاريع أيضا وبالتالي سيتم بيع المزيد من المنتجات.
ما الذي تنفرد به مجموعة الدانوب عن بقية المجموعات الاخرى؟
الذي يجعلها فريدة أننا نتعامل بالعديد من المنتجات، لأنك إذا دهبت إلى أحد المنافسين تجدهم يبيعون فقط عدد قليل من المنتجات بينما نحن نبيع الكثير والكثير من المنتجات
ما هي نصيحتك للمقاولين الشباب؟
أنصحهم أولا وقبل كل شيء بمعرفة ما يريدون القيام به، لأن عدد كبير من الشباب يقولون أنهم يريدون القيام بهذا وذاك، لكن عليهم اكتشاف قوتهم أولا، فمثلا إذا كانت قوتك هي الطبخ، كن طاهيا وإذا كانت في البيع، كن بائعا، اعمل في شركة تسمح لك بتطوير تلك القوة وتمنحك القدرة على إضافة مهارة جديدة، فإذا كنت طباخا مختصا في الطبخ الهندي فقط، فلن تتقدم في أي مكان في الحياة ما لم تتعمل مهارات أخرى إلى جانب مهاراتك الأصلية، إضافة إلى وضع خطة لثلاثة سنوات القادمة ، حتما ستنمو تدريجيا.
كيف تحافظ على أسلوب حياة متوازن؟
نمط حياتي مبني على العمل ثم العمل، وهذا ما يشغل معظم تفكيري، أحب الاحتفال مع أصدقائي وأفراد أسرتي في عطلات نهاية الأسبوع، لدينا حفلات منزلية باستمرار كما أقضي بعض الوقت مع أطفالي وأحفادي.
ماذا عن اكسبو 2020؟
نحن محظوظون لأننا قادرون على توفير مواد البناء الخاصة بنا لغالبية جناح الدولة المختلفة. أعتقد أن أكثر من 27 دولة تقوم بالإمداد، أنا سعيد جدًا بهذا الأمر، وأعتقد أن معرض إكسبو 2020 سيجلب الكثير من الأعمال والايجابية الى السوق، ومن المتوقع أن يأتي 25 مليون زائر إلى المعرض، فكل من جاء لدبي لا يريد العودة
إلى موطنه، ويحلم بالبقاء هنا، وفي الختام سيحقق اكسبو 2020 نجاحا باهرا.

لدينا حقا علاقة صداقة قوية ، نعمل معا، نرقص معا ولدينا أصدقاء معا، نفس الشيء مع السيد أنيس ساجان ( شقيقي)لدينا علاقة قوية وترابط أسري قوي، ويمكنك ان تنادي لابني وتطرحي عليه بعض الاسئلة.
عادل ساجان؟ ما الذي تعلمته من والدك؟
أنا محظوظ حقا كوني ابنا للسيد رضوان ساجان، فهو ليس أبا فحسب، بل معلما ملهما، وصديقا مرشدا، فهو الشخص الذي حفزني وأدخلني دائرة العمل منذ سن مبكرة وجعلني ما أنا عليه اليوم، ومصدر الهام للعديد من الناس، ولي الشرف أن أعيش يوميا هذا الاحساس والشعور، لذا أشكر الله الذي منحني أبا رائعا.
ثم تابع السيد رضوان ساجان قائلا:
عندما تصبح ثريا يوما بعد يوم، ويولد الطفل بملعقة فضية في فمه، هذا يعني أنه يتمتع بكل الكماليات حتى أنه في العديد من الأحيان ترى الطفل الذي يعيش نمط هذه الحياة لا يركز ولا يهتم بعمله لأنه توفرت لديه كل سبل العيش المترفة، لكن أنا محظوظ للغاية لأن ابني عادل عكس ذلك، يعمل بجد ونشاط لنجاح العمل الأسري، إنه يسعى لنجاح واستمرارية ما أنجزته وسوف ينقل هذه التعاليم لذريته عندما يصبح كبيرا، يجب أن يكونوا قادرين على حمل علم الدانوب عاليا كإرث للأجيال القادمة.
ثم تابع عادل قائلا:
الشيء الجيد في والدي والذي قلة من الناس من تستطيع القيام بذلك، كانت لديه القوة والثقة في تفويضي بالقيام بأمور كبيرة رغم صغر سني وحداثة تخرجي، أعطاني عملا يقدر بالملايين الدولارات لتشغيله وهذا ليس بالسهل . لذا أنا دائما اعمل بنصيحة والدي الذي جعلني أعمل في شركة البناء عندما كان عمري ثلاثة عشر سنة، ونفس الشيء سأقوم به مع طفلاي عندما يبلغا سن الثانية عشر، لأنني أومن بأن التنشئة القوية وتلك الحياة الصعبة في البداية أساسية لجعل الأمور سهلة للغاية.
مرة ثانية أنا محظوظ لأن لدي أب عظيم، ساعدني في امتلاك القيم لبقية حياتي، وهذا يساعدني اليوم، وقد أكون أنانيا وأحمقا، إذا كنت أعرف أن شخصا ما قد كافح وناضل بشدة منذ طفولته، عاش يتيما في أحد أحياء الهند الفقيرة ليخلق امبراطورية بمليارات الدولارات التي تعتمد عليها العديد من العائلات، لقد فعل هذا من الألف إلى الياء وعاش أوقاتا عصيبة، سأكون من الحماقة للغاية عدم الدفع بهذا الارث إلى الأمام، وهذا هو أحد الدوافع التي تجعلني أكد، بحيث كما تعلمين يمكنني بناء الجسر بين الجيل الأول والتالي وأخذ هذا العمل إلى الخطوة التالية.

أوه ، كلمة واحدة صعبة ، لكن لديه الكثير من الصفات الحميدة لدرجة أن كلمة واحدة صعبة للغاية، لكن يمكنني القول أنه يناضل بجد، يعمل بجد، متواضعًا جدًا ومتوازنًا ( وهذا ما لمسناه خلال جلستنا الحوارية معه)
