The Gunnebo Group assigns a vice-president to MEA region
The Gunnebo Group, a global provider of security solutions for public, commercial, industrial & high-risk sites, is announcing the accession of Jacob Touma to Vice-President Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Caucasus as of 1 July 2021. Jacob will be part of the leadership team and will be reporting to Stefan Syrén, president and CEO of The Gunnebo Group
“Gunnebo has an excellent business track record in the Middle East under Jacob’s leadership, and I am certain this will also benefit our business going forward for the new region. By assigning Jacob to this position, we are promoting the right candidate internally and handing over the responsibility of overseeing an important geographical area,” said Stefan Syrén, president and CEO of The Gunnebo Group
With a Master of Science in civil engineering and a master’s in business administration, Jacob brings to the role over 24 years of industrial experience, including 14 years as Managing Director with extensive international experience, and a track record of profit and growth.

أعلنت مجموعة “غانيبو” المزود العالمي للحلول الأمنية للمواقع العامة والتجارية والصناعية وعالية الخطورة، عن انضمام جاكوب توما إليها ليشغل منصب نائب الرئيس لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا وآسيا الوسطى والقوقاز، وذلك اعتباراً من 1 يوليو 2021. وسيكون جاكوب جزءاً من فريق القيادة، ليرتبط بشكل مباشر مع ستيفان سيرين، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة “غانيبو”
وقال ستيفان سيرين: تفخر “غانيبو” بسجل أعمالها الممتاز في الشرق الأوسط تحت قيادة جاكوب، ومن المؤكد أن هذا سيعود بالنفع على أعمالنا أيضاً لنواصل تقدمنا في المنطقة الجديدة. ومن خلال تعيين جاكوب في هذا المنصب، فإننا نقوم بترقية المرشح المناسب داخلياً لتولي مسؤولية الإشراف على هذه المنطقة الجغرافية المهمة”.
ويحمل جاكوب درجة الماجستير في الهندسة المدنية وأخرى في إدارة الأعمال، وسيجلب معه إلى هذا المنصب أكثر من 24 عاماً من الخبرة الصناعية، بما في ذلك 14 عاماً كمدير إداري مع خبرة دولية واسعة، وسجل حافل بتحقيق الأرباح والنمو.
