Inspire the Designer in Your Teen with The Designers’ Studio’s Interior Design Summer Camp 2021

Spark your child’s interest for Interior Design with The Designers’ Studio’s beginner courses at their Al Quoz, Dubai location

Have your teen dive into the world of design this summer holiday with The Designers’ Studio’s newly launched ‘Teen Interior Design Camp’, curated for teenagers looking to explore their creative, interior design skills. Providing yearound inspirational, career-focused courses in Interior Design and programming, Anam Clarke, CEO and Founder of the studio, has produced a week-long program of beginner courses for teenagers to delve into a potential career path.

In the heart of a cultural oasis at The Courtyard in Al Quoz, teenagers ages 12 to 18 will have the chance to take professionally-led courses in Interior Design. The program walks students through the fundamentals of Residential Design, covering a variety of topics for them to learn how to transform their homes. Additionally, students will receive hands-on experience where they will design and work closely with tutors and real life samples, which will lead to a final project at the end of the week. Anam Clarke designed this Summer Camp alongside the tutors with the aim of giving adolescents the opportunity to gain real life experiences in the field and potentially ignite a sleeping passion for the world of Design and Architecture.

The Teens Interior Design Summer Camp will be offered in two batches over the academic summer break period. Students have the choice to sign up for the week-long program to start on either July 25th or August 1st, and the courses will run from Sunday to Thursday running from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The courses are of a beginner level, therefore no previous experience in Interior Design is required, welcoming students of all levels and interests to sign up for the course. Due to the limitations brought on by COVID-19, there is a limited number of spaces for the course and students will have to register in advance through The Designers’ Studio’s website.

The Designers’ Studio offers exceptional accredited interior design courses combined with flexibility to provide students with the opportunity to work at their own pace around their busy schedules. Whether students take up interior design as a new hobby or to start a professional career, The Designers’ Studio caters to a variety of individuals’ needs. The fully immersive KHDA-approved institute has teamed up with some of the region’s most revered homeware brands including Crate and Barrel, Maisons du Monde and Tribe Dubai, to develop the required skills as well as create an eye-catching portfolio to prepare students for projects, internships and employment.

أطلق استوديو The Designers’ Studio، مؤخراً، “مخيم التصميم الداخلي للشباب” المخصص للشباب الذين يتطلعون إلى استكشاف مهاراتهم الإبداعية ومهارات التصميمي الداخلي خلال العطلة الصيفية. وقد بادرت أنام كلارك، الرئيس التنفيذي ومؤسس الاستوديو الذي يقدّم دورات ملهمة تركز على تطوير المسارات المهنية المرتبطة بالتصميم الداخلي والبرمجة على مدار العام، إلى تصميم برنامج مدته أسبوع يضم دورات للمبتدئين الشباب تؤهلهم لاستكشاف مسارات مهنية محتملة في هذه المجالات الإبداعية.

يتيح المخيم للشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 12 و18 عاماً فرصة تلقي دورات تدريبية في مجال التصميم الداخلي على يد متخصصين في الاستوديو الذي يُعد واحة ثقافية في قلب The Courtyard بمنطقة القوز. وسيتعرف الطلاب خلال المخيم على أساسيات التصميم السكني عبر مجموعة متنوعة من الموضوعات التي تعلّمهم كيفية تحويل منازلهم.

علاوة على ذلك، سيكتسب الطلاب خبرات عملية بفضل انخراطهم في مجال التصميم والعمل عن كثب مع المدربين والنماذج الواقعية، وسوف يُختتم المخيم بتقديم مشروع نهائي في نهاية الأسبوع. صمّمت أنام كلارك هذا المخيم الصيفي بالتعاون الوثيق مع المدربين بهدف منح الشباب فرصة مثالية لاكتساب تجارب حقيقية في هذا المجال وتعزيز شغفهم بعالم التصميم والهندسة المعمارية.

سيتم تقديم مخيم التصميم الداخلي الصيفي للشباب على دفعتين خلال فترة العطلة الصيفية الأكاديمية. ويتسنى للطلاب اختيار التسجيل في البرنامج الذي يستغرق أسبوعاً واحداً ويبدأ في 25 يوليو أو 1 أغسطس، على أن تُعقد الدورات من الأحد إلى الخميس من الساعة 10:00 صباحاً حتى 1:00 ظهراً.

تُعد الدورات مناسبة لمستوى المبتدئين، إذ لا يُشترط وجود خبرة سابقة في التصميم الداخلي، رغم ذلك يرحّب المخيم باستقبال الطلاب من جميع المستويات والاهتمامات. ونظراً للقيود التي فرضتها جائحة فيروس كوفيد-19، ستكون الأماكن محدودة خلال الدورة ويتعيّن على الطلاب التسجيل مقدماً من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني الخاص بإستوديو The Designers’ Studio.
