TAKE IT FORWARD WITH THE LATEST DATA-DRIVEN 3D PRINTED PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY – ADIDAS 4DFWD

Today, adidas Running introduces the latest iteration of adidas 4DFWD – the next step in data-driven 3D printed midsole technology, designed to move you forward.

Combining years of athlete data with the unique technology of 3D printing, adidas 4DFWD is created to provide runners with an all-new running experience. Following its initial limited release in May and a special solar red and white colorway released last month, adidas 4DFWD is now launching globally with a striking hero core black colorway featuring signal green accents.

For over four years, adidas has developed 4D lattice midsole technology in partnership with Carbon, combining athlete data and Carbon’s Digital Light Synthesis^TM technology to produce precision tuned 3D printed midsoles. adidas 4D footwear is amongst the first in the world to use this cutting-edge technology which offers the ability to fine tune midsoles to specific patterns of movement, so that athletes can enjoy precision performance with every step. Identified from one of five million possible lattice structures, the 4DFWD is made with nature. The midsole consists of 40% natural and renewable materials with the intent to help end plastic waste.

The unique 4DFWD cell geometry is coded to compress in one direction only: forward.  When a foot impacts the ground, it applies braking forces. 4DFWD reduces these forces by redirecting the impact into forward motion. With every step the 4DFWD midsole shears forward, providing a smooth transition and gliding experience

To mark the shoe’s release, adidas is also launching the ‘Take It Forward’ Challenge – a new three-week holistic training plan in the adidas Running app that invites consumers to complete 30km between August 10-31 either through running, walking or treadmill.

Also launching today exclusively for Creators Club members is the new adidas 4DFWD PULSE, which combines 4D and EVA technology to ensure a soft landing with every step. Perfectly printed and precisely positioned, the shoe is coded for a smooth run with the 4DFWD heel angled to increase impact absorption, working together with the EVA midsole. This unique design translates into a smooth heel transition at the moment of touchdown. The three-layered mesh upper in the 4DFWD PULSE has been engineered for seamless stretchable support for lateral and linear movement, combined with the outsole designed to work in harmony with the midsole, providing traction as you run.

تُطلق “أديداس رانينج” اليوم، نسخة جديدة من “adidas 4DFWD”؛ الخطوة التالية في تقنية النعل الأوسط ثلاثية الأبعاد القائمة على البيانات والمصممة لتجعلك تنطلق إلى الأمام.

تم ابتكار adidas 4DFWD من خلال دمج سنوات من بيانات الرياضيين والتقنية الفريدة للطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد بهدف تزويد العدّائين بتجربة ركض جديدة كلياً. ويأتي إطلاق adidas 4DFWD عالمياً مع لون أسود أساسي مذهل بلمسات خضراء، بعد إصداره الأولي المحدود في مايو باللون الأحمر الشمسي، وباللون الأبيض خلال الشهر الماضي.

عملت “أديداس” على مدار أكثر من أربع سنوات، على تطوير تقنية النعل الأوسط الرباعي الأبعاد بالشراكة مع “كاربون” والمزج بين بيانات الرياضيين وتقنية Digital Light SynthesisTM من أجل إنتاج نعال متوسطة مطبوعة ثلاثية الأبعاد محكمة بدقة. وتُعتبر أحذية “أديداس” الرباعية الأبعاد (4D) من بين الأوائل في العالم التي تستخدم هذه التقنية المتطورة التي تمنح القدرة على ضبط النعل الأوسط لأنماط محددة من الحركة، بحيث يمكن للرياضيين الاستمتاع بأداء دقيق مع كل خطوة. تم تحديد شبكة adidas 4DFWD المستوحاة من عناصر الطبيعة، من خلال عمليات المحاكاة بين 5 ملايين هيكل ممكن. ويتكون النعل الأوسط من 40% من المواد الطبيعية والعناصر المتجددة بهدف المساعدة في القضاء على النفايات البلاستيكية.

من جهة أخرى، تُطلق “أديداس” تحدي “Take It Forward” احتفالاً بإصدار هذا الحذاء؛ وهو عبارة عن خطة تدريب جديدة شاملة مدتها ثلاثة أسابيع عبر تطبيق “adidas Running”  تشجع المستهلكين على قطع مسافة 30 كيلومتراً  بين 10 و31 أغسطس، إما من خلال الركض أو المشي أو آلة الرياضة. سينطلق التحدي عبر لتطبيق 12 أغسطس.
