Al Hamra Golf Club raises impressive funds through
the region’s first 24-hour golf challenge initiative

Al Hamra Golf Club, the leading golf club in the Northern Emirates, and the Ras Al Khaimah Club for People of Determination, announced that over AED 40,000 was raised to support people of determination in the Emirate through the region’s first 24-hour golf challenge. All entry fees and cash raised during the golf session and a proportion of F&B revenues generated on the day were donated to the Ras Al Khaimah Club for People of Determination.
With generous donations from Troon Golf, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort , Al Marjan Island, The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach and Prosports International, the golf challenge raised funds for the only club that is dedicated to increasing awareness, promoting the participation and inclusion of ‘people of determination’ in the community.
Set against the backdrop of the majestic Jebel Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah and forming the centrepiece of Al Hamra Village, Al Hamra Golf Club invited golfers of all levels – from seasoned professionals to fledgling enthusiasts – to play the game continuously for 24 hours and support people of determination. Members of the RAK Centre for People of Determination also got their chance to try golf for the very first time.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the relations of Ras Al Khaimah Club for People of Determination with organisations such as Al Hamra to raise funds to provide necessary physical, psychological, and intellectual care and attention to people of determination, enabling the young people to confidently integrate themselves in the society and engage in work across both the government and private sectors.
Al Hamra expressed appreciation for the initiative, which puts the interest of the people of determination as priority across Ras Al Khaimah.

أعلن كل من “نادي الحمرا للجولف”، نادي الجولف الرائد في الإمارات الشمالية، ونادي رأس الخيمة لأصحاب الهمم، عن جمع تبرعات تجاوزت قيمتها 40 ألف درهم لدعم وتمكين أصحاب الهمم في الإمارة من خلال تنظيم أول تحدٍ للجولف في المنطقة يُقام على مدار 24 ساعة. وحصل نادي رأس الخيمة لأصحاب الهمم على التبرعات التي جاءت نتيجة جمع رسوم المشاركة والأموال الأخرى خلال مباراة الجولف، علاوة على نسبة من عائدات المأكولات والمشروبات في يوم التحدي.
واستطاع تحدي الجولف جمع هذه الأموال لصالح النادي الوحيد المكرّس لنشر الوعي حول احتياجات أصحاب الهمم في إمارة رأس الخيمة وتمكينهم ودمجهم في المجتمع، بفضل التبرعات السخية التي تم تقديمها من قبل كل من “ترون جولف”؛ وهيئة رأس الخيمة لتنمية السياحة؛ ومنتجع شاطئ هيلتون رأس الخيمة، وجزيرة المرجان؛ وريتز كارلتون رأس الخيمة، شاطئ الحمرا؛ وبرو سبورتس إنترناشونال.
وكان “نادي الحمرا للجولف” الذي ينفرد بموقع استثنائي مطل على جبل جيس في رأس الخيمة وفي قلب قرية الحمرا، قد دعا لاعبي الجولف من جميع المستويات سواء أكانوا من المحترفين المخضرمين أو الهواة من عشاق هذه الرياضة لخوض منافسات التحدي الممتد على مدار 24 ساعة دعماً لأصحاب الهمم. وحظي أعضاء مركز رأس الخيمة لرعاية وتأهيل أصحاب الهمم بفرصة ممارسة رياضة الجولف للمرة الأولى.
وتسعى هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز شراكة نادي رأس الخيمة لأصحاب الهمم مع المؤسسات والجهات الرائدة في الإمارة على غرار “الحمرا” لجمع التبرعات الضرورية لتوفير الرعاية البدنية والنفسية والفكرية لأصحاب الهمم في إمارة رأس الخيمة وتمكين الشباب منهم من الاندماج في المجتمع والالتحاق بالفرص المهنية في القطاعين الحكومي والخاص.
