Minor Hotels Announces Upcoming Debut in Bahrain
New Build Avani and Tivoli Hotels to Launch in 2024
Minor Hotels, a hotel owner, operator and investor, currently with a portfolio of 527 hotels and resorts in 54 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, South America, Africa and the Indian Ocean, is pleased to announce its strategic entrance into Bahrain with the upcoming debut of its Avani and Tivoli brands.
Scheduled to open in 2024, Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort will be part of Bilaj Al Jazayer, a new waterfront leisure mixed-use masterplan owned by Edamah, the real estate arm of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, Mumtalakat. The new development will offer resorts, residential villas and apartments, food and beverage outlets, retail, offices and entertainment.
Bilaj Al Jazayer is located on the south-west coast of Bahrain and encompasses 1.3 million square metres of land with a three-kilometre beachfront. Manama, the capital and main city of Bahrain, is a 25-minute drive and Bahrain International F1 Circuit and Dilmun Waterpark are in close proximity.
The new Avani and Tivoli hotels, each with 110 keys, will be located along the main boulevard of Bilaj Al Jazayer on the waterfront. Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer will offer a selection of guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, an Avani Pantry and a pool bar, in addition to an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and meeting space. Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer’s facilities will include guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, two bars and a café, an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, plus spa and wellness facilities. In addition, the hotels will share a beach club within the Bilaj Al Jazayer development.

افتتاح فندقَين جديدين يحملان علامتَي أفاني وتيفولي في العام 2024
يسرّ مجموعة فنادق ماينور، وهي مالكة سلسلة فنادق عالمية تتولى تشغيلها والاستثمار فيها، الإعلانَ عن دخولها الاستراتيجي إلى البحرين مع فندقَين جديدين يحملان علامة أفاني وتيفولي. تفتخر المجموعة اليوم بامتلاكها محفظة مشاريع ضخمة تتضمن 527 فندقاً ومنتجعاً في 54 بلداً في أنحاء منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط، وأوروبا، وأمريكا الجنوبية، وإفريقيا والمحيط الهندي.
سيتم افتتاح فندق أفاني بلاج الجزائر في البحرين وفندق تيفولي بلاج الجزائر في البحرين عام 2024 كجزء من مشروع بلاج الجزائر الترفيهي الجديد ومتعدّد الاستخدامات على الشاطئ من إدامة، وهي الذراع العقارية لشركة ممتلكات البحرين القابضة، صندوق الثروة السيادي لمملكة البحرين. سيضمّ هذا المشروع الجديد منتجعات وفللاً وشققاً سكنية فضلاً عن مطاعم ومقاهٍ ومتاجر ومكاتب ومرافق ترفيهية مميّزة.
يقع مشروع بلاج الجزائر على الساحل الجنوبي الغربي لمملكة البحرين ويفترش مساحة 1.3 مليون متر مربع مع شاطئ ممتدّ على مسافة ثلاثة كيلومترات. تقع المنامة على بُعد 25 دقيقة بالسيارة من المشروع، فيما تقع حلبة البحرين الدولية للفورمولا 1 وحديقة دلمون المائية على مقربة منه.
سوف يتم تشييد فندقَي أفاني وتيفولي اللذين يضم كلّ منهما 110 غرفة، على طول البوليفارد الرئيسي لبلاج الجزائر على الواجهة البحرية. وسيوفّر أفاني بلاج الجزائر مجموعةً من الغرف والأجنحة بالإضافة إلى مطعم يفتح أبوابه طيلة اليوم، وحجرة مؤن واستراحة قرب المسبح، إلى جانب مسبح في الهواء الطلق وصالة رياضية وغرفة لعقد الاجتماعات. علاوة على ذلك، ستضمّ مرافق تيفولي بلاج الجزائر غرفاً وأجنحة متميّزة، فضلاً عن مطعمَين، واستراحتين ومقهى، ومسبح في الهواء الطلق، وصالة رياضية، ومرافق سبا وعافية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيتشارك الفندقان نادياً شاطئياً مميّزاً ضمن مشروع بلاج الجزائر.

وفي هذا الصدد، علّق ديليب راجاكارير، وهو الرئيس التنفيذي في مجموعة ماينور الدولية ومجموعة فنادق ماينور، قائلاً: “يسعدنا الإعلان عن هذين الفندقَين الجديدَين التابعَين لمجموعة فنادق ماينور واللذَين سيحطّان رحالهما في البحرين وسيرسّخان مكانتنا في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. يعكس فندقا أفاني وتيفولي في البحرين التزامنا المستمر بمزاولة أعمالنا في الشرق الأوسط وتطوير هاتين العلامتين في المنطقة. إنه لشرف عظيم أن نعقد شراكة مع شركة إدامة التابعة لصندوق الثروة السيادي في البحرين، بهدف تشييد هذَين الفندقَين الأولَين في إطار مشروع بلاج الجزائر، ونتطلّع إلى شراكة تعود بالفائدة على الطرفَين في السنوات القادمة.”
في السياق نفسه، قال سعادة رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة إدامة، خالد الرميحي: “نرحّب بهذه الشراكة مع مجموعة ماينور لتطوير الفندقَين الجديدَين. ويُعتبر ذلك إنجازاً مهماً يُكمّل أهدافنا التنموية الأوسع نطاقاً لمشروع بلاج الجزائر. سيلعب الفندقان الجديدان دوراً رئيسياً في جذب السياح إلى الساحل الجنوبي الغربي للمملكة وسيقدّمان تجربة مميزة للمقيمين والزوار على حدّ سواء.”

تضم مجموعة فنادق ماينور حالياً 29 فندقاً ومنتجعاً قيد التشغيل وفي طور الإنشاء في منطقة الشرق الأوسط عبر علاماتها أنانتارا وأفاني وتيفولي وأوكس. وتخطّط لإطلاق العلامتَين الجديدتَين إن إتش كوليكشن وإن إتش هوتيلز في المنطقة.
