Meet the Charming Italian Restaurant at Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse

Devoted to the culinary traditions of Sicily, Sardinia and Capri, Isola Ristorante celebrates stripped-down, coastal Italian cooking. Married with Mediterranean-style hospitality and nestled in newly renovated Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse, Isola is picture-perfect with hints of timeless Italian charm. Complete with jade lounges, calming deck views of a streaming ravine, a marble-white bar and floral aesthetics, the upscale space is elegant yet sentimental.

The dining menu, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, features modern classics like ‘La Parmigiana di Melanzane’, eggplant parmigiana, ‘Orata alla griglia’, grilled sea bream with Sicilian dressing, ‘Scaloppine di vitello al limone’, veal sirloin with a zesty lemon sauce and ‘Spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga’, cooked to al dente perfection, accompanied with clams and Sardinian bottarga (a delicacy of cured fish roe). And for dessert, the timeless, coffee-flavoured heritage favourite tiramisu, sets the ending of an overall satiating meal. Chef Francesco Bagnato credits his Southern Italian upbringing to his signature approach of blending Mediterranean and Italian ingredients and flavour profiles.

Cool, inviting and filled with natural light, Isola’s service matches the interiors’ sunny demeanour. “Our aim is to associate Isola Ristorante with a freeing sense of comfort”, said Lorena Guerrero, Isola’s General Manager. “With a setting that evokes the look and feel of the Italian Riviera, it’ll be as though our guests have found a replica of the Italian coastline, right in their own backyard”.

من وحي تقاليد تحضير الطعام في جزر سردينيا وكابري وصقلية، يحتفي مطعم “إيزولا” بالأطباق البسيطة التي تشتهر بها السواحل الإيطالية، ويوفّق بينها وبين الضيافة على طريقة دول البحر الأبيض المتوسط. يقع المطعم في مشروع جميرا آيلاندز كلوب هاوس بحلّته الجديدة، ويتّسم بديكور جميل تطغى عليه الروح الإيطالية التي لا تفقد رونقها مع مرور الزمن. يشمل المطعم مقاعد بلون حجر اليشم الأخضر، ومناظر باعثة على الهدوء مطلّة على البحيرة، إلى جانب بار من الرخام الأبيض، كما تنتشر الأزهار والنباتات بين حناياه.

تشمل قائمة الطعام، المتوفّرة للفطور والغداء والعشاء، الأطباق الكلاسيكية الحديثة مثل الباذنجان وجبنة البارميزان ‘La Parmigiana di Melanzane’، وسمك الدنيس المشوي مع صلصة السيسيليان ‘Orata alla griglia’، ولحم العجل مع صلصة الحامض  ‘Scaloppine di vitello al limone’، والسباغيتي مع المحار الملزمي والبوتارغا السردينية (وهي نوع من البطرخ) ‘Spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga’. الختام مسك مع حلوى التيراميسو التقليدية بنكهة القهوة. يعزو الشيف فرانشيسكو بانياتو مقاربته المميّزة التي يدمج فيها بين المكوّنات والنكهات المتوسطية والإيطالية إلى نشأته في جنوب إيطاليا.

تُضاهي الخدمة في مطعم “إيزولا” أجواءه الأنيسة ديكوره المشرق الذي يفيض بنور الشمس. بهذه المناسبة، تقول لورينا غيريرو، المديرة العامة لمطعم “إيزولا”: “هدفنا أن يوحي مطعم ’إيزولا‘ بإحساس من الراحة.  يوحي المطعم بأجواء الريفييرا الإيطالية، فيشعر الضيوف وكأنّهم وجدوا نسخة من الساحل الإيطالي، في فناء منزلهم”.

إلى جانب مشروبات الكوكتيلات المميّزة التي ينفرد بها المطعم، مثل “إيزولا روسا” Isola Rossa و”كابري سبريتز” Capri Spritz، يتغنّى “إيزولا” بتشكيلة واسعة مستوردة من أفضل المناطق التي تُنتج مشروب العنب في إيطاليا.
