Entrepreneur and philanthropist Mahmood Ahmadu, who is the founder and executive chairman of Online Integrated Solutions (OIS), received the Corporate Visionary Leadership Award on behalf of the company; at the virtual FORBES Best of Africa Awards 2021 event, organized by FORBES and FIN International.
Dubai, August 15th, 2021: In an online event held on August 6th 2021, Foreign Investment Network (FIN), in partnership with FORBES, celebrated outstanding African achievers in business, politics, innovation, leadership, and the economy; honouring them as part of the FORBES Best of Africa Awards.
Online Integrated Solutions (OIS); a specialist visa application agency that provides online passport, visa processing, and technical support services for governments; was selected as the recipient under the ‘Corporate Visionary Leadership’ category. Mr Mahmood Ahmadu – founder of Africa’s leading multi-business IT conglomerate and executive chairman of OIS – received the prestigious award, on behalf of the company.
The awards are a result of several months of concerted research and verification, by FIN and FORBES; which identified changemakers and innovators that are making outstanding contributions towards building a prosperous and equitable future, for Africa and Africans.
The Chairman of the Foreign Investment Network (FIN) Group, Mrs Olayinka Fayomi, delivered the welcome address at the event; A goodwill message was delivered by The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof’ Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), who was represented by the Minister of Trade and Investment Otunba Niyi Adebayo; the keynote address was delivered by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, President of the Rock Foundation; and the awards were presented by Mark Furlong, President of Customs Solutions, FORBES.
A strong believer in the transformative power of technology, Mr Ahmadu began his entrepreneurial career at a young age. In the years since, his business interests have come to span the Mining, Real Estate, Construction, Agriculture, Bottled Water, E-education, E-healthcare, and Fintech industries; with a current footprint extending across 53 nations, in 5 continents. OIS is part of Mr Ahmadu’s vision for a future-ready and digitally empowered Africa.

دبي، 15 أغسطس، 2021: كرّمت شركة فورين إنفيستمنت نيتورك، بالشراكة مع مجلة فوربس، رواد الأعمال الأفارقة الناجحين والمميزين في مجالات ريادة الأعمال والسياسة والاقتصاد والقيادة والابتكار في حفلٍ افتراضي أُقيم في 6 أغسطس 2021 في إطار جوائز فوربس للأفضل في أفريقيا.
ووقع الاختيار على شركة أونلاين إنتجريتد سوليوشنز، الوكالة المتخصصة في شؤون التأشيرات وتزويد الحكومات بإجراءات إلكترونية لإصدار جوازات السفر والتأشيرات إلى جانب خدمات الدعم التقني، للفوز بجائزة أفضل قيادة مؤسسية ملهِمة. وتلقى السيد محمود أحمدو، مؤسس المجموعة الرائدة لشركات تكنولوجيا المعلومات في أفريقيا، والرئيس التنفيذي لمجلس إدارة شركة أونلاين إنتجريتد سوليوشنز، الجائزة نيابةً عن الشركة.
وتأتي هذه الجوائز ثمرةً لجهود استمرت عدة أشهر أجرت فيها كلّ من شركة فورين إنفيستمنت نيتورك ومجلة فوربس أبحاثاً مكثفة وعمليات تدقيق شاملة لتحديد صناع التغيير والمبدعين الذين يقدمون مساهمات جليلة في سبيل بناء مستقبل زاهر وأكثر إنصافاً لأفريقيا ومواطنيها.
وافتتحت السيدة أولاينكا فايومي، رئيسة مجلس إدارة مجموعة فورين إنفيستمنت نيتورك، الحفل بإلقاء كلمة ترحيبية، تلتها كلمة ملهِمة ألقاها البروفيسور يمي أوسينباجو، نائب رئيس نيجيريا والمحامي الأول، الذي حضر ممثلاً عنه أوتونبا نياي أديبايو، وزير التجارة والاستثمار؛ فيما ألقى القس بول أديفاراسين، رئيس مؤسسة روك فاونديشن، الكلمة الرئيسية، وأشرف مارك فورلونج، رئيس الحلول الجمركية لدى فوربس، على تقديم الجوائز.
وانطلقت مسيرة السيد أحمدو في ريادة الأعمال في سن مبكرة إيماناً منه بقوة التكنولوجيا وقدرتها الكبيرة على التغيير. ومنذ ذلك الحين، توسعت اهتماماته المهنية وازداد حضوره حتى شمل اليوم مجالات التعدين والعقارات والإنشاءات والزراعة وتعبئة المياه، إلى جانب التعليم والرعاية الصحية الإلكترونية وقطاعات التكنولوجيا المالية، وذلك في 53 دولة منتشرة في خمس قارات. وتشكّل شركة أونلاين إنتجريتد سوليوشنز جزءاً من رؤية السيد أحمدو لإعداد أفريقيا لمواجهة تحديات المستقبل وتمكينها رقمياً.
