{:en}FUJAIRAH, United Arab Emirates–(BUSINESS WIRE/AETOSWire)— Rumailah Farm, Fujairah-based dairy producer, received a visit from Senator John Le Fondré, Chief Minister of the UK’s Island of Jersey, who paid an official visit last week to the UAE. Le Fondré was greeted at the farm’s main facility by HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi and Rumailah Farms General Manager Abdullah Taleb.

Le Fondré was elected chief minister in 2018 after holding several other political positions in Jersey, where he has backed initiatives aimed at supporting the island’s local dairy industry.
Bringing Jersey’s ‘Milk of Royalty’ to Fujairah
Senator Le Fondré visited Rumailah Farm on Oct. 14, where he received an official welcoming ceremony and an extensive tour of the facility. His visit was prompted by the fact that Rumailah Farm only uses cows imported from Jersey to produce its line of popular dairy products, popular among supermarkets and coffee shops throughout the Emirates.
Affectionately known as the “Milk of Royalty,” Jersey cow milk is famous worldwide for its high fat content, which gives it an exceptionally rich and creamy taste. Rumailah Farm employs cutting-edge technology at its facility to produce its range of premium dairy products. “During the chief minister’s visit, we had the pleasure of discussing the current state of agriculture in the region and the potential for further collaboration between Fujairah and Jersey,” Taleb says.
Chief Minister’s Visit: ‘Proof of Success’
Rumailah Farm currently operates two popular coffee shops on the UAE’s dynamic East Coast (in Fujairah City and Dibba) where patrons can enjoy the brand’s signature milkshakes, ice cream and specialty coffee. Since the two locations opened their doors in 2020, they have continued to attract a large and loyal customer base.

الفجيرة ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة: استقبلت مزرعة الرميلة الموردة لمنتجات الألبان عالية الجودة في الفجيرة، السيد جون لوفوندريه ، السيناتور المنتخب لجزيرة جيرسي البريطانية ، الذي قام بزيارة رسمية الأسبوع الماضي إلى الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وكان في استقبال لوفوندره في المنشأة الرئيسية للمزرعة سمو الشيخ مكتوم بن حمد الشرقي والمدير العام لمزارع الرميلة عبد الله طالب. وعلق طالب عن الزيارة قائلا: “لقد سررنا وكنا بغاية الفخر باستقبال السناتور لوفوندريه في منشأتنا لمنتجات الألبان، حيث أن زيارته تعتبر شهادة جديدة على تأثير مزارع الرميلة الكبير على الاقتصاد الزراعي المحلي”.
وقد تم انتخاب لوفوندريه في عام 2018 بعد أن شغل عدة مناصب سياسية أخرى في جيرسي، وكان حينها داعما للمبادرات التي تهدف إلى دعم صناعة الألبان المحلية في الجزيرة.
“حليب الملوك” من جيرسي إلى الفجيرة
زار السناتور لوفوندريه مزرعة الرميلة في الرابع عشر من أكتوبر الجاري، حيث تلقى حفل ترحيب رسمي تبعه جولة مكثفة في المنشأة. وكانت الزيارة بدافع أن المزرعة لا تستخدم سوى الأبقار المستوردة من جيرسي لإنتاج خط منتجاتها التي تشهد بجودته محلات السوبر ماركت المكتظة به، والكافيهات التي لاتستخدم سواه في جميع أنحاء الإمارات.
ويشتهر حليب البقر جيرسي ، المعروف باسم “حليب الملوك” ، في جميع أنحاء العالم بمحتواه العالي من الدهون ، الذي يمنحه طعمًا غنيًا ودسمًا بشكل استثنائي، والذي تستخدمه بدورها المزرعة لإنتاج مجموعة منتجات ألبانها المتميزة. يقول طالب مؤكدا على ذلك: “خلال زيارة السيناتور ، كان من دواعي سرورنا مناقشة الوضع الحالي لمنتجات الألبان والمنتجات الزراعية في المنطقة وإمكانية زيادة التعاون بين الفجيرة وجيرسي”.
الزيارة “دليل على النجاح”
تدير مزرعة الرميلة حاليًا اثنين من الكافيهات الشهيرة على الساحل الشرقي للدولة المفعم بالحيوية (في مدينة الفجيرة ودبا). حيث يمكن للزبائن الاستمتاع بنكهات الحليب المخفوق (milkshake) المميزة والمثلجات (ice cream) الغنية والقهوة المتخصصة. حيث إن الموقعان قد استمرا في جذب قاعدة كبيرة من الزبائن منذ فتح أبوابهما للعامة. كما نوه عن ذلك طالب قائلا: “زيارة السيناتور لوفوندريه دليل على نجاح مزرعة الرميلة وتعزيز لمكانتها كعنصر رئيسي في سوق منتجات الألبانبدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ونتوقع من خلال عملنا الدؤوب، زيادة ظهور علامتنا التجارية في جميع أنحاء المنطقة وخارجها”.
