DUBAI, 18 November 2021 – With Expo and UNICEF celebrating World Children’s Day on 20 November, it’s the perfect time for kids of all ages to explore Expo 2020 Dubai’s Press Play visitor journey, one of the many curated tours designed by Expo to enrich the visitor experience.
The journey incorporates unforgettable moments of fun and adventure, highlighting games, musical experiences, animals, and more, across the Expo site. It will take them to the Tonga Pavilion, where a young Tongan boy, Lafi, will introduce the family to his friends, the animals of Tonga, and his best friend, Lei, a whale.
An out-of-this-world experience awaits at the Belarus Pavilion, where a video game called Beltaurus takes visitors into outer space. And at the Monaco Pavilion, young ones can take part in another video game, helping a penguin navigate different obstacles, such as ice cracks, leopard seals and waste.
The Bulgaria Pavilion allows children to learn through play, with an innovative playground that converts kids’ kinetic energy into light, stimulating little ones to play more and reducing overall energy consumption. Fans of board games can expect great fun at the Ethiopia Pavilion, which has classic Ethiopian games, such as Gerbeta and Segno Maksegno, and the Angola Pavilion, meanwhile, invites kids to play two uniquely Angolan games; one designed to improve environmental awareness, and another that empowers Angolan society to come together.
More games can be found at the Malawi Pavilion, with a traditional Bawo game, a version of an ancient African board game based around a simple counting apparatus. Bawo (Malawi), Bao (Tanzania) and Omweso (Uganda) belong to the globally-known mancala group of ‘count and capture’ board games.
And young visitors can have a ‘whale’ of a time at Rashid’s Playground learning about humpback whales. These giant mammals are rare visitors to the Gulf, and a mother and a calf were spotted recently off the coast of the UAE.

دبي، 18 نوفمبر 2021 – مع احتفال إكسبو 2020 دبي ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف) باليوم العالمي للطفولة يوم 20 نوفمبر الجاري، سيحين الوقت المثالي للأطفال من مختلف الأعمار لاستكشاف جولة الزائر “هيا بنا نلعب” في إكسبو 2020 دبي، وهي واحدة من الجولات المُخصّصة العديدة التي صممها إكسبو 2020 لإثراء تجربة الزائر.
تضم الجولة أوقات المرح والمغامرات، عبر إبراز ألعاب، وتجارب موسيقية، وحيوانات، وغيرها الكثير في أرجاء موقع إكسبو 2020. ستصحب الجولة العائلات إلي جناح تونغا، حيث يُعرّف، لافي، فتى صغير من تونغا أفراد العائلة إلى أصدقائه من حيوانات تونغا، وإلى صديقه المُقرَّب، لاي، الحوت.
وتنتظر الأطفال تجربة مدهشة في جناح بيلاروس، حيث تصحب لعبة فيديو تُسمى “بلتاوروس” الزوار في الفضاء الخارجي. وفي جناح موناكو، يمكن للصغار المشاركة في لعبة فيديو أخرى، حيث يساعدون بطريقاً على تجاوز عقبات مختلفة، مثل شروخ جليد، وفقمات نمر، ونفايات.
ويتيح جناح بلغاريا للأطفال التعلّم عبر اللعب، عن طريق ملعب مُبتكر يحوّل الطاقة الحركية للأطفال إلى ضوء، وهو ما يحفز الصغار على اللعب أكثر، ويخفض استهلاك الطاقة الإجمالية. أما بالنسبة لمحبي الألعاب اللوحية، فبانتظارهم الكثير من المتعة في جناح إثيوبيا، الذي يقدم ألعابا محلية كلاسيكية، مثل لعبة جيبيتا، ولعبة سيغنو ماكسيغنون بينما يدعو جناح أنغولا، في هذه الأثناء، الأطفال للعب لعبتين أنغوليتين فريدتين، واحدة منهما لرفع الوعي البيئي، و الأخرى لتمكين المجتمع النغولي من الاتحاد.
ويمكن إيجاد المزيد من الألعاب في جناح ملاوي، الذي يتيح لعبة باوو تقليدية، وهي لعبة لوحية أفريقية قديمة تقوم على عملية حسابية بسيطة. وينتمي كل من ألعاب باوو (من ملاوي)، وباو (من تنزانيا)، وأومويسو (من أوغندا) إلى مجموعة المنقلة العالمية الشهرة للألعاب اللوحية.
ويمكن للزوار الصغار الاستمتاع بأوقاتهم في ملعب راشد ومعرفة المزيد عن الحيتان الحدباء. نادرا ما تزور هذه الثديات الضخمة منطقة الخليج، ورُصدت أم وعجلها مؤخرا قبالة الساحل الإماراتي
