The Tejari Procurement Excellence Awards highlighted some of the most innovative and forward-thinking initiatives implemented by the Dubai Government using JAGGAER technology to transform the role and impact of procurement

Innovation and digitalization in Dubai Government were celebrated as part of the inaugural Tejari Procurement Excellence Awards, with the Government praised for their advances in new technology and transforming the role and impact of procurement
The award ceremony, which took place at the Address Sky View, recognised various government entities for their work as part of their digital procurement transformation journey. Winners included the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, recognising their achievement of becoming the first government entity to successfully integrate with the UAE Pass for signing electronic contracts.
Other winners included the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprise Development for the best innovative automation project for their entrepreneur ecosystem and Dubai Airports, who were successful in the ‘Procurement Pioneer’ category for best procurement innovative solution for tenders. Dubai Future Foundation was awarded the Visionary Spotlight Award for outstanding contribution to the evolution of digital procurement.
During a keynote speech, Dr Reem Abdulaziz, Deputy Director of Contracts & Procurement Department, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, highlighted the entity’s digital transformation journey across key areas of their business from sourcing optimization to supplier management, transforming the way they do procurement.
During the address, Abdulaziz applauded the state-of-the-art system for enabling the best technical solutions in procurement, contracting and facilitating work procedures. And as a result, it highlighted the elimination of paper from tender processes, which dramatically reduced the time to complete procedures and freed up resources to focus on other mission-critical aspects of the department.
In addition to the Dubai Future Foundation award win, the government entity also signed an MoU with JAGGAER/Tejari further expanding their current partnership. The new framework will see the implementation of JAGGAER’s eProcurement capability, an online catalogue-based shopping experience for goods and services enabling end-users to order to facilitate project requirements on the entity’s ‘FutureBuy’ procurement platform.
Hany Mosbeh, Vice President of Sales Middle East & Africa JAGGAER, said, “At the core of digital procurement is innovation. We, therefore, need to constantly push the boundaries to ensure solutions focus on the business challenges, processes and people to ensure positive business outcomes and results.”

- سلطت جوائز تجاري للتميز في المشتريات الضوء على بعض المبادرات الأكثر ابتكاراً وتطلعاً للمستقبل التي تنفذها حكومة دبي باستخدام تقنية جاقار لتحويل دور وتأثير المشتريات
دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 15 ديسمبر 2021: تم الاحتفال بالابتكار والرقمنة خلال حفل توزيع جوائز تجاري للتميز في المشتريات، حيث تم الإشادة بحكومة دبي تبعاً لما حققته من تقدم في التكنولوجيا الجديدة وتحويل دور وتأثير المشتريات.
وقد كرّم حفل توزيع الجوائز، الذي أقيم في العنوان سكاي فيو دبي، مختلف الجهات الحكومية على عملها الدؤوب كجزء من رحلة التحول في مجال المشتريات الرقمية، وكان من بين الفائزين الإدارة العامة للإقامة وشؤون الأجانب – دبي تقديراً لإنجازهم المتمثل بكونهم أصبحوا أول جهة حكومية تندمج بنجاح مع تطبيق الهوية الرقمية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة UAE Pass لتوقيع العقود الإلكترونية.
ومن بين الفائزين الآخرين مؤسسة محمد بن راشد لتطوير المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة لأفضل مشروع أتمتة مبتكر لمنظومة رواد الأعمال ومطارات دبي، الذين نجحوا في فئة “رواد المشتريات” لأفضل حل مبتكر للمناقصات، كما حصلت مؤسسة دبي للمستقبل على جائزة الرؤية الاستشرافية للمساهمة البارزة في تطور المشتريات الرقمية.
هذا وقد سلطت الدكتورة ريم عبد العزيز، نائبة مدير إدارة العقود والمشتريات بالإدارة العامة للإقامة وشؤون الأجانب – دبي خلال كلمتها الرئيسية في الحفل، الضوء على رحلة التحول الرقمي للجهة الحكومية عبر المجالات الرئيسية لأعمالهم من تحسين المصادر إلى إدارة الموردين وتحويل الطريقة التي يقومون بها بالشراء.
وأشادت عبد العزيز خلال خطابها بأحدث الأنظمة التي تتيح أفضل الحلول التقنية في المشتريات والتعاقد وتسهيل إجراءات العمل، حيث قامت بتسليط الضوء على إلغاء الورق من عمليات العطاء، مما قلل بشكل كبير من الوقت اللازم لإكمال الإجراءات وحرر الموارد للتركيز أكثر على الجوانب الأخرى المهمة في الهيئة الحكومية.
بالإضافة إلى فوز مؤسسة دبي للمستقبل بالجائزة فقد وقعت الجهة الحكومية أيضًا مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة تجاري/جاقار لتوسيع شراكتهما الحالية، حيث سيشهد إطار العمل الجديد استخدام حلول جاقار للمشتريات الإلكترونية، وهي تجربة تسوق قائمة على الكتالوج عبر الإنترنت للسلع والخدمات تمكن المستخدمين النهائيين من خلالها من طلب تسهيل متطلبات المشروع على منصة المشتريات “FutureBuy” الخاصة بالجهة الحكومية.
وبهذه المناسبة قال هاني مصبح، نائب الرئيس للمبيعات في الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا لدى شركة جاقار: “الابتكار هو جوهر المشتريات الرقمية، لذا فإننا نحتاج إلى دفع الحدود باستمرار لضمان تركيز الحلول على تحديات الأعمال والعمليات والأفراد لضمان نتائج وأعمال إيجابية”.
وأضاف مصبح قائلاً: “نحن فخورون للغاية بشراكتنا الطويلة الأمد مع حكومة دبي ونعتز بهذه الثقة التي منحتنا إياها الحكومة في تقديم هذه التكنولوجيا الرائدة في مجال المشتريات، كما يسرني أن أهنئ جميع المشاركين في حفل توزيع الجوائز وأتطلع إلى الاحتفال بنجاحهم المستمر في المستقبل”.{:}
