This initiative aims to nurture local and Arab artistic talents residing in the UAE, while strengthening their presence as a key component of the performing arts ecosystem continuously supported by the theatre.
The workshop will be delivered by performing arts specialist Gillian Rhodes, and will cover a range of core topics including vocal and breathing techniques, voice development, and refinement of vocal tone. Participants will also have the opportunity to join the Dubai National Theatre Choir.

She added that the selection of the trainer was based on her extensive professional experience in singing, music, and performing arts, as well as her ability to deliver information in a clear and engaging manner. She highlighted that the workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to enhance their vocal skills, understand the fundamentals of choral singing, and develop harmony and expressive performance techniques.
Dubai National Theatre, through its 2026 agenda and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, continues its commitment to empowering youth and emerging talents in the performing arts. Through a series of specialized programs and workshops, the theatre aims to refine artistic skills, foster innovation, and provide a dynamic platform that enables young creatives to actively contribute to the future of the arts in the UAE and leave a lasting impact on the cultural landscape.
