Dubai, UAE, 23 September 2026: Emirates Petroleum Company (Emarat) and Dubai Club for People of Determination have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support initiatives that create wider opportunities for People of Determination to participate, develop their skills and contribute more actively to society. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a more inclusive community where every individual is empowered to realise their potential.
The MoU was signed by Burhan Al Hashemi, Chief Executive Officer of Emarat and Majid Abdullah Al Usaimi, Executive Director of Dubai Club for People of Determination. It establishes a framework for cooperation between both organisations, covering implementation, governance, areas of collaboration and impact measurement.
Burhan Al Hashemi, Chief Executive Officer of Emarat, said, “Emarat remains committed to supporting initiatives that turn social responsibility into tangible and sustainable impact. Our collaboration with Dubai Club for People of Determination reflects our belief in building an inclusive society where People of Determination have equal opportunities to grow, participate and contribute. Through this partnership, we aim to support practical initiatives that improve quality of life and strengthen inclusion across different areas of society.”
Majid Al–Usaimi, Executive Director of Dubai Club for People of Determination, said, “This MoU marks an important step in strengthening cooperation with the public sector to support People of Determination and expand the opportunities available to them. Through our collaboration with Emarat, we look forward to delivering impactful initiatives that develop skills, enhance access to training, qualification, employment and volunteering opportunities, and help create a more inclusive and accessible environment.”
Under the MoU, both organisations will work together to support and implement programmes that develop the skills of People of Determination, improve quality of life and encourage greater community participation. The collaboration will also focus on training, qualification, employment and volunteering opportunities, in addition to the exchange of expertise and best practices in inclusion and accessibility.
